“I’m sorry.” She spoke in the voice of someone she once knew. Someone she once was. Pink Pearl. Though she could never be her completely again she was known to resurface. Especially when she was at her weakest point. The pearl frowned. Attempting to wipe away her tears. 

“I don’t even realizing when I’m doing it. Crying that is. I haven’t had control of my own body in eons. Sometimes I don’t know when I’m doing or reacting to things. I’m healing. That’s what Steven said. So I apologize for when these incidents occur.”

Wow. The other didn’t even know she was crying. Is that how disconnected from her own body she was? How long had White Diamond even possessed her for, for White Pearl to not even know when she was crying?

“It’s really, really okay.” Both of Connie’s hand on White Pearl’s shoulders, trying to ground the other. “We understand, I understand. It’s going to be okay.”

Perhaps Connie should change the subject, this clearly was not a good subject for them to talk about for too long.

“Say, how have you been adapting to Beach City? It’s nothing like Homeworld, so it can be hard. But has there been anything that caught your attention? Maybe something you enjoyed?” She really hoped there was something, after all, both Yellow Pearl and Blue Pearl enjoyed something. Perhaps if they found something White Pearl enjoyed, it would help her settle.

“It’s been slow progress but so far I like earth like. I like simple pleasures. I like eating and drinking.” She reached into her gem. Pulling out a can Guacola and taking a long sip until it was empty and crushed it in her hand. “I’ve also found that I like fish. Also I like horror movies.
