He basically has 2 personalities, though this submission is about Sou during the deathgame but basically he used to be kind, timid and self-sacrificing. But during the death game, he does anything to survive like lying about himself. Outside of his need for survival (during the deathgame), he also attempt to manipulate others to get what he needs. Though, he isn't exactly a bad person as bits of his kind, timid and self-sacrificial self can and does bleed through.
