Dress Sword

Dated: 1660

Culture: French

Measurements: overall length 93 cm

The sword features a slender, thrusting blade of flattened hexagonal section with a deep groove and an inscription that reads “ANTONI RVIZ”. The guard and pommel are made of iron and decorated with battle scenes. The sides are each decorated with female figures. The spirally grooved grip is wrapped in fine iron wire and braided ferrules.
