Wrong timing

And yeah, I was able to get on with most days with a smile and yeah.. I do still think about you everyday, but it doesn't hurt like it used to. Mostly regret and wishing I had done this or that. The truth is I think we were supposed to get married, and really be one of those forever things..and yeah, I still hope I get to meet you again in this life, while we still have new things to experience.

That one night we laid in bed until the morning hours bonding over our belief in ghosts, for the record I didn't think you were crazy, but a claim so amazing and abstract, I honestly didn't know how to react. It was then I realized your past haunts you the way the monsters in your closet do as a child. I can explain all your fears, I hold all of your secrets, know all the paths and even the shortcuts to your heart, I remember you thought I was so smart, and I envied your patience and ability to create all that beautiful art. C'mon, we knew it from the jump, it was the perfect way to start...                   Instead of your night terrors that I was so good at making disappear it’s the loss of our friendship that keeps me up at night. We were friends once, remember? Deep down you know this ain't right,  You were just here, and yeah  almost a year has passed.. but still this is still too fast. The remanence of memories, dreams and plans we promised were built to last, are slowly becoming those ghosts haunting the halls of my past. I'll never forget one of the last times I saw you, I showed you my headphone splitter..wasnt that just perfect for us? ❤ You sang the 2 phones trap remix most of the trip:) Or the time it was raining..you met me at the park and I was soaking wet, but I need(ed) to see you...i carried you across a lake in the street and a woman walking by said "that ones a keeper" " if you only knew" I replied thinking about how I had already lost you....
