Happy 2nd Birthday to the people’s princess, Like Crazy. When we heard vague testimonials from the lucky first listeners who were at Jimmy Fallon, I knew that it was going to change lives. I’ve never been more grateful to be right.
I wish I could replay the moment it hit #1 over and over again. From seeing the entire fandom erupt in celebrations with everyone losing their minds and fandom hugs, to hearing of the member’s, his producers, his father congratulating him on the spot (Hobi tearing up!), to his nervous and speechless livestream, to the level of vindication that we experienced all at once…nothing could ever top it.
Like Crazy brought so much life back to fandom, for both ARMYs and JM’s own solo fanbase. The energy behind each achievement it made leading up to the #1 was almost reminiscent of a BTS comeback. She was the first to make history and laid the foundation for every bit of success that’ll follow and I will forever hold her close to my heart.
