This is an example of some of the stand-alone material from the Strangers Patreon; a set of faux-screenshots that J created, depicting a nonexistent Strangers game, Origins S (which also acts as a loose teaser for the upcoming “Green Disc” module).
From the Patreon newsletter: “Reviews would be quick to point out the ‘unconvincing environments presented in comparison to the lavishly animated characters’, 'incomprehensible flow of events’, 'mistranslation of/absence of the roles of sensitives as 'Laminates”, and 'the element transformation equitable to destruction’, but audiences unanimously lauded the 'cool disc art.’“

I urge you to support Strangers! All the creatures have indepth descriptions of what they look like, how they form, how they interact with the world etc. It’s a fantastic project!
A bit of sad news today; the Strangers Patreon has dipped below the 200$ goal needed to add five new strains to the project each month. We’re going to wait until next Sunday (August 28th) to see if we can get the funding back up, but if we don’t manage to make that goal, the Patreon, and the Strangers project, will be put on indefinite hold until we’re able to raise the funds once more.
Check out the site, and if you like what we’re doing, you might enjoy the Patreon’s weekly newsletter, behind-the-scenes previews, and supplemental materials. Reblogs and signal boosting are also really appreciated! We can’t say ‘thank you’ enough to those who have enjoyed the project, spread the word, or expressed enthusiasm thus far. J and I really hope that this won’t be the end of Strangers – we’ve still got so much planned, and we’re hoping to expand the project even further as time goes on. Here’s hoping things will be able to continue as usual before long!

How the ball’s trajectory matches the lowering of his hand and he turns his face just in time to get hit. This couldn’t have been choreographed this well.
