Touch him again and I'll be setting fire to you in no time.
He didnât scream at the punch, but he made up for that once the fingers started to drill his chest, ripping flesh and breaking bones as it sunk deeper and deeper into Tobiasâ chest. The bone in his arm was begging to repair itself, but that mattered little when what was happening to him now was much worse. He had so much to say to the Alpha, but obviously that was useless. The man no desire to hear him out and by the looks of it wasnât even curious to find out his reasons. Once he managed to stop himself from screaming, Tobias remained silent. His whole body was shaking from the pain, sweat pouring out from every pore of his body.Â
"Now," he breathed out, a coolness in his tone that didn't suggest that he had is hand deep within the mans chest. "This is your one and only reminder of whose city you are in. Stop acting like a child and do not touch what is not yours because of petty emotions. Keep the backtalk to me at zero or you'll no longer have use of your vocal chords. Is that clear?", he asks with a tilted head, raising his eyebrows and letting his fingers poke at the mans heart. Oh how easy it would be for Adrian to rip the muscle from his chest, silencing him altogether and eliminating the problem at the source, but the Alpha was a man that wanted to see improvement, he offered one chance and one chance only, after that he could care less about the screams, he just wanted that pounding heart out of its occupants chest and onto the ground. Slowly he pulled his hand from the mans chest, slowly and bumping against the broken bones on his way out until his flesh was exposed to the air once more, hand colored red. A handkerchief is produced from his back pocket and he wipes away the crimson, giving the broken man one last look before strolling away, the sun of the day settling on his skin as he walked to the Dominion.Â
Touch him again and I'll be setting fire to you in no time.
"I do, being a lawyer and all, itâs one of the things Iâm good at. Donât get pissed at me, just because what you said can be interpreted another way." He was almost expecting the break of the bone by the tight grip the Alpha had on his arm from the start, but still hurt and caused him to shut his eyes and groan in pain. "And youâll be wise to demand hearing both ends of a story before deciding on a verdict. Or so Iâve heard they do in the justice system." Being under pressure in a court wasnât that different from being scared for your life in the presence of an Alpha. Tobias stood in place, pulling his unbroken arm out of the Alphaâs grip. "I can walk fine by myself, if you lead the way. No need to pull."Â
Now the Alpha stopped in his tracks, turning toward the boy with litter reguards to if he walked out of here alive, if he kept talking the way he was, he would be begging for his last breath soon. A large fist shot out in the air, colliding with Tobias' face and sending him backward about twenty feet. "You would be wise to never tell me what to do, boy. Learn your place, a place that will always be beneath me. You want to live in the city, you follow my rules, if not I can kill you and make sure your ashes are buried in shit just outside of the cities gates", he spoke all the while taking steps toward the crumpled man, his large form towering over him. Centuries upon centuries weighed upon the Alpha that was well over a thousand years old, his age providing him with many situations dealing with worthless wolves such as the one before him. Again the Alpha's hand sprung forward, his fingers plunging through the mans chest, moving past flesh and bone painstakingly slow to inflict as much pain as possible. "There is no justice system, something you should have learned a long time ago if you were ever in a worthy pack. There is my word, and my word is law." Further and further his hand went into the mans chest, snapping ribs as he went, his destination; the heart.
Touch him again and I'll be setting fire to you in no time.
"Excuse me? This room can hardly be called the whole city, sir."Â
"Learn to think before you speak", he breathed out with a eerie calmness before a swift movement of his hands caused the bone beneath his fingers to snap in half, tearing through the mans flesh. "Did I say the whole city? No, I said within, which this room and you happen to be in. The tales of your incompetence have now been floating to my ears. When rules get broken, punishment is due. You'll be wise to learn that." Reaching out again he captures the man by the arms, his large hand wrapping around both of his wrists before he begins to walk from the cell and to the basement of the Chateau.
Touch him again and I'll be setting fire to you in no time.
[his hand stopped just as he was reaching for the little bottle of Vervain in his inside pocket] Just your luck, Eddy. [slaps his hand off and shoves him away, kicking Bryce in the gut on his way out]
[Grabs Bryce by the shoulders and lifts him up into his arms] Perfection, thank you. [races out of sight with his slave]
The Alpha watches the vampire scurry away but catches the wolf by the arm, his grip almost crushing the bone. "Tobias, isn't it?", he breathes out, his tone dripping with malice and his eyes dark, lacking any form of amusement. "Do you think it wise to cause mayhem in my city?", with each word the Alpha speaks, his grip grows tighter, eyes piercing through the man, though that is a title Adrian doesn't think he deserves at the moment. From his grip there was no escape, and if there was an attempt, the scale of the punishment would only skyrocket to unspeakable heights.
Touch him again and I'll be setting fire to you in no time.
[The blade cut through Edwardâs face easily and only pulled a growl from the vampire, his focus still on the wolf as he slammed him back. Too focused and wired up to care over something that was already healed over] I dare? You make yourself sound like someone, something important. That isnât the case. Nor will it ever be, youâre a sad man who canât find anyone willing to be with him, so you hurt those of others. What, the little pup you created not doing it for you? Shame, he was always so eager to please me. [slams him back once more, fingertips digging into his pulsepoint] If you ever look at him again, I will make sure you taken care of and your body will be used as a chew toy for his pup. Now get out of here before I tear off one of your legs and let everyone see you for the joke you are. So the choice is yours, cut me up some more and end with your life coming to and end or leave and realize you are never to speak to him again. Choice is yours, pup.Â
Both of you damn children get the hell out of my sight before I kill you both for the noise and drama to fucking stop. Do not test me, you will lose.

I've never wanted to run so much....
AdrianâŠ.I donât suppose you know what is going on, do you? Iâm a wolfâŠ.my slave is  a vampire and Iâm pretty sure Iâve called at least three slaves sir or maâam.
Does anyone actually ever know what is going on when things are different when we wake? Stranger things have happened in this town, they always come to an end eventually.
I've never wanted to run so much....
perhaps it will cool me down, or only make it worse
Unless you're running into the ocean, it will only make it worse.
Jonah had managed power over himself in the last few hours of being a vampire, but suddenly a heavy scent caught his nose as him and Gale walked down the road. HumanâŠÂ He wasnât sure how he knew so quickly, but his hunger spiked suddenly. Jonah uses advanced speed to quickly grab a hold of the manâs shirt and forcefully holds him close. Black veins and fangs begin to grow, âIâm hungry, thatâs what.â
"You vampires are always hungry. Let me provide you with some options. Exhibit A", he breathes out, pointing to the female he had by his side. "Exhibit B, C, D, E, F, G, H, and I", he speaks again, his index finger motioning to the numerous other humans that roamed the streets, all with a rather confused look on their face. Shrugging his large shoulders Adrain peered at the man, his eyes disinterested and the feeling of crushing centuries weighing on his body, though he was human, so clearly centuries were impossible, yes?
Bella wasnât quite sure what to do with herself right now. She was a mess, she knew that much. She had very little control over what she did and didnât do. Sheâd left Drew tied up on the bed, sheâs practically torn apart Jaredâs chest. Lord knew what sheâd do if she ran into someone she actually wanted to hurt. If this thing ever shifted back, she was one dead blonde. She supposed she might as well enjoy the rest of it, since someone would have her head anyway though, so when her eyes caught on the (former) alpha and his voice carried to her, Bellaâs wry smile was instantaneous. âNow, thatâs not a very nice way to address someone, lover.â She purred, a golden flash of her eyes indicating that there was absolutely no control left in her.Â
With extreme disinterest Adrian stares at the blonde before him, her eyes flashing with the gold of a wolf. "Do I know you?", he asks, his tall frame hovering far above hers as they stand a good distance away from each other on the city streets. Her words produce a confusing anger, it is her who should not be speaking to him in that way, he is the Alpha, he speaks how he wishes. Wait, that was incorrect, the warm blood and slow heart beat were proof of that, so why did he hold memories of power? When it seems she will not answer Adrian gives a small shrug of his shoulders before continuing his steps down the street, human senses not aiding in his search.
Gale was with Master Jonah. She had met so many people, yet all version contradicted the previous one. They had come to Covaire hoping to find answers and they had been left with more questions. She hadnât been looking around when a booming voice asked a simple yet clear âWhat?âher head snapped in its direction, terrified, yet she was rendered silent for a moment as she watched the broad man.
"Alpha?" she murmured, yet he wasnât, not at all. He was a human. But she remembered clearly meeting him and being turned on, to her shame, by his power⊠but she also remembered him torturing her.
"What is happening to us?" she asked finally because certainly he would know, he had been Alpha once.
Rage would boil through Adrian's skin had he been completely aware of just what was happening, his immortality and strength stolen in the dead of night. But with very little recolection of his former life and title he simply strolls through the streets, his hands tucked in his pockets, the chill of the air registering on his human skin.
Alpha?
This single word causes his head to tilt, an eyebrow raised at the omega in front of him, recognizing the voice as face but the details are fuzzy just as thought and moment is. Though his power is stripped from him, Adrian still holds the arrogance and sarcasm he always has, a mouth that could get him into trouble.
"Happening to who? To you and I or this city as a whole? Speak clearly", he breathes out, mind dismissing her first word and instead focusing on her question. Though he wouldn't say it, he knew there was something off, her question was not asked with no purpose, something was wrong.

Upon waking up Adrian had very little memories of his former life, the house around him familiar and the sleeping child he knew was his own. But no longer did the strength of centuries flow through his veins like lava, instead he was only a lowly human. A small indicator in the back of his mind told him to secure his home, and with the press of a button it was done, steel bars laced with various poisons descended over the doors as he left and started down the street, pausing when a figure came into view. "What?"
