Dirk Strider [timaeusTestified] is Available for Application!!!

Hello Everyone! This is Alex speaking, I am one of the mods of this timeline. In it I play both H.A.L. and Dirk Strider. However I want to focus my sole attention on being H.A.L. as he is the only bad guy currently present in the timeline.

As such I am opening up applications for Robot Dirk Strider to everyone again. In the meantime, I will continue to play Dirk. If you wish to apply to be Dirk do so here.

Slots for Guardians, Condesce, AlphaBots, Dirk, Jake and Jane are open. Other Characters may be inquired about.

The labs security was tied into your systems, just as H.A.L. was. This you didn’t see coming though. The multiple failures filling up your HUD. Forcing you to cease the activity of providing food to Mutini to monitor the multiple error messages appearing. Sifting through them as they appeared. One after the other, all of the carefully interwoven set of systems running the lab.

You had barely made it through them when a new error popped up. Large and alarming. Red flashing on your HUD. Critical system failure in Core 5. The core located beneath the central most point of the lab. Right between, you and the other humans. This was a terrible tactical error. A tactical advantage to H.A.L. You had no time to warn Roxy, Dave or the others when the explosion rocked the whole underground complex.

You had to get out. Everything would come down. That was just the first explosion. Other less susceptible cores would be going out as well. A timer popped up on your HUD, the HUD of every robot and the electronic devices of the creators. You all had fifteen minutes to escape or die.

You had given the humans and their robotic counterparts enough time to enjoy their remaining time alive while you prepared. Carefully made adjustments to their network. Slow enough that they wouldn’t notice. Large enough that when you gave the final push, their carefully laid house of cards would come crashing down. Leaving them ready to pick off.

With a single command you sent their network the command. Your end all of their peace. They would run now. All at once error messages popped up across their systems. Security was down. Critical failure in all machines requiring computer monitoring, all those pesky files were shut down. It took only moments for their little special core to begin heading towards total meltdown.

This was carefully planned out though. The timing perfected. The humans were divided. All of the robots with Dave and the others ripe for picking off elsewhere. So when things began to blow, taking down the perfect part of the building, they were cut off. Separated with two separate escape routes. On one side, the main entrance for Dave and the bots. A safe route for the most part, you had focused on picking off the others. The weaker group. They would have to travel through the transporter hub. Which so deliciously took them down into the caves. Where you would wait for them, with every drone in the area you could fit.

They would know terror. They would know the meaning of ‘run’. You wouldn’t kill them. You would hunt them until they begged for you to end the game. Then you would end their resistance. End their lives. But not Dave’s. You would save him last. That’s why you separated them as such.

This game was going to be so fun.

The raven haired female took off her labcoat giving a wide smile as she had finished up working on golgothasTerror for that day seeing as she needed to take a little break working on it quite a lot that day “well its time to go get something to eat and relax a little bit!” jade said exiting the lab and going to the kitchen and grabbing some things to eat before her phone began to ring hurrying over there she picked it up giving a “hello?” to the person calling her on the other line.

About the Story

The Beta's are late teens to twenties (some are still debating age). In the year 2009 small signs began to pop up everywhere to those who paid attention. Something big was looming on the horizon. Something that planned to make itself known. That wanted to take over. To those who paid attention they would know that this something hid behind the face of Crocker Corp. That year four adults vanished from their homes during the rebranding of Crocker Corp, leaving their children behind.

On the first day of 2010 it happened. The first move was made as a massive red ship appeared, wearing the new branding of Crocker Corp. Atop it stood the one who had been behind the scenes.

Her Imperious Condescension. With the help of careful preparation she was able to sweep most of Earth up within a few waves. Enslaving humanity through oppression with her Drones. Military forces were ill prepared to face a non-human foe and Earth's occupation began. It was the time of HIC.

Not willing to stand for this, the four children left behind began to speak, till one day one of them snapped. They would fight back, but how? A female among them had the answer, robots. What better to do than fight fire with fire, or in this case robots with robots. So each began to build a robot to do battle.

First came the robot golgothasTerror, built by the female who had suggested to build robots, Jade Harley. With an extensive knowledge of weaponry GT was made to be a force to be reckoned with at range.

Next came the robot timaeusTestified, built by the rather cool physical combat expert, Dave Strider. TT was built to fight the oponent head on. Built using materials borrowed from his Bro, who the robot was modeled after.

After came tipsyGnostics, created by the knowledgeable Rose Lalonde, the one who first spoke about fighting back. This bot was built to work in tandem with TT. TG being exceptionally skilled with hacking but at the cost of being incredibly prone to damage in physical combat. She is inseparable from her partner.

Finally came gutsyGumshoe, built by the rather interesting John Egbert. GG was created to care for the other bots and humans, she is the partner of GT, meant to stay back and repair as needed. She has a working knowledge of coding.

Together these four stood to fight an impossible foe.

Finding the small group of little consequence HIC ignored them greatly until confronted by timaeusTestified with an offer, to be given her own robot to fight them in turn. And so the Huntsman Automated Life-Form (H.A.L.) was built to oppose the resistance. Given full control of the drones.

Results of Card's Against Humanity.

The final game was a winner take all between H.A.L., Dave Strider and Roxy Lalonde. We played Wizards, Books and Boobs as the currency of the future. H.A.L. won with boobs.

Prizes as followed for the three games.

First Game - Won by Dave Strider - 24-Hour Reprieve from Drone Attacks

Second Game - Won by Rose Lalonde - Large supply of yarn and knitting needles to be supplied by H.A.L.

Final Game - Won by H.A.L. - Date with Dave Strider

Important update!!!!!!

John’s character in Alpha!stuck is currently not fully into the story, he’s interacting only by internet, as he travels to them, because he’s lost. He’s no longer in the main plot, not until he’s retrieved from where he’s been staying for the last week. Further updates will be given until he’s found the other’s. The reason for this, is because our Jane had to be removed from our group, for reasons we’ll keep private, thusly, he no longer has reason to be with them yet.

Very important announcment, there is now an age limit for those participating in the group. You must be 16 or close to being sixteen to be able to join, as discussed between both mods we have come to the decision. This only effects one person in the group, and we apologize but this group has some serious situations and you have to be able to handle when darker things drop suddenly in the Skype chat. Other than that, we are just trying to keep the cast mature enough.
