hello twilight / non twilight folks,

     could you please LIKE / REBLOG this post if you would be down to interact with an independent, highly headcanon based serena of the twilight series? she’s a 6 ft hybrid who spends her days teaching her sisters & being a man-eater.  i know the twilight fandom is kind of alive & kicking right now so I thought I’d try my hand at writing a highly underdeveloped & underappreciated character ( thanks s.meyer she’s my daughter now. )

facts about my twilight lioness shape shifter oc that no one wanted to hear but are going to get anyways

men are highly uncommon as shifters. they usually occur in populations where the female groups are low in number and need a boost

men who transform have to have very strong genes on their mother’s side ( usually meaning their entire female ancestor lineage were / are shifters at one point. )

these women are lionesses all are just about a little smaller than a common hippo. they are fucking MASSIVE

while they predominantly use their teeth to dismember their prey, their claws are also a weapon that are able to impact vampire’s marble skin, more like a bear trap then anything - they hold them in place while those massive canines do the work.

she is part of a rather small pride of lions, roughly composed of about 6-7 individuals. Nigeria does not have an actual well self sustaining population of natural lions, so she & her sisters make up for it.

she is related biologically to all the women in her pride - they are either her cousins, aunts or her mother.

unlike their wolf counterparts in north america, these ladies tend not to be as receptive to treaties & coexistence.

another difference to compare to the quileutes is that subtle is their language. very few, if any humans not directly related know of their existence.

I like the idea of maybe making a lion shifter instead, because in the real world, lionesses do all of the hunting so does that mean in the shifting world, usually only women turn with the RARE abnormality being a man? think about that world
