I’ll be honest, I can definitely change the oil in your car and I may be able to beat you in a boxing match. But you’re not my type.
Two things. One, you definitely can’t beat me in a boxing match. Two, if you’re a straight girl, I’m definitely your type.
What if I do both?

You could be may favorite if you started changing the oil in my car. Alternatively, beating me in a boxing match.

[not looking back at her, still filing] Yes, that one. [stops when he hears her pulling up a chair, glancing at her feet on the desk momentarily before going back to work] Your parents ever teach you any manners?
Oh, thanks! Do you want help?
[laughs, looking up at her] You wanted to punch me and now you want to help? Jesus, you should really get that bipolar checked out. [gets back to filing] You should take your brother with you if you go. [stops] Well, not that other one. You know the one I’m talking about.
Nope, I’m supposed to be here, annoying you.
[looks away from here and begins to shuffle some files into their proper cabinets] Well, you’re doing a good job of it.

You were watching me long enough to know I was just floating. And I’m more uncomfortable having a stranger standing at the edges of the pool than having a stranger swim with me.
Of course I was. You were standing and splashing around like a goddamn idiot. You expect people not to stare at you when you’re acting like you’ve been possessed?
Now, I won’t stand here and be accused of creeping on you. That’s all too flattering and self indulgent on your part. If there were anybody I’d creep on, it would be myself. And possibly Matt Bomer in American Horror Story: Hotel.
[glares at him] Nothing. Never mind.
[crosses his arms, glaring back] Okay, good.
And maybe you’re the creep who was watching me swim.
[raises an eyebrow] I was barely here for two seconds before you called me, a complete stranger, into the pool with you.
Hardly enough time to watch you swim. Though, I was a bit taken aback by a lone dude splashing around in the pool by himself, if that’s what you’re referring to.
Maybe I was taking a break.
And maybe you’re bullshitting.
I could be training.
I’m pretty sure training involves doing actual physical work. Floating around doesn’t count.
It’s not weird, lots of people do it.
Swimmers, maybe. Who are training.
I’m having a slightly uncomfortable time.
You should be grateful it’s only slightly, then.
And that you’re not just hanging around in the pool alone. Because that would be weird.
I think you’re just doing a nice thing for yourself, since you’re the only talking ‘bout fantasies.
