Spell or Die

Spell or Die is a horror adventure set in Ravenloft’s Barovia and is designed for 1st-4th level characters. It can be played as a one-shot adventure or woven into a Ravenloft campaign or Curse of Strahd.

In this adventure, characters are tasked with rescuing a Barovian girl, Lina, from the evil spellmaster, Madame Pamea Vowelstadt.

This booklet includes stats for the Spellmaster and the Spelling Mechanic for combat. Spell the word correctly, and you get Advantage on your attack. Spell the word wrong, and you take damage.

There's also a list of Forbidden Words, magic items, and allies to help you against the Spellmaster.

Cl-aroo!

Cl-aroo! is a horror-mystery one-shot adventure for 3rd-4th level characters. 

It's basically Clue with lycanthrope monsters. 

Characters are invited to a dinner at the "One Away from the Answer" house outside of Eveningstar, where it's revealed they're being blackmailed.

What starts out as a mystery turns into a creature feature horror as the staff reveals their true, savage machinations.

House

There are eight rooms to explore in the house, each with clues that slowly reveal the host's true intentions.

Character Prep

Before play, players should come up with a fun, pun name for their PC and a secret that could be sold for blackmail. Nothing serious, just something that could get them in trouble. They will reveal it to the DM, who will assign it to one of six NPCs. The character will have an opportunity to confront the one who sold their secret, but they may end up facing a lycanthrope, or something worse.

Offer

Characters at some point may be given the opportunity to become a werewolf. Whether or not they accept that offer is up to them.

Purple Dragon Knights side quest

Characters affiliated with the Purple Dragon Knights, or seeking to join them, will be asked to learn the fate of First Sword Winter Rowanmantle. She was last seen at the "One Away from the Answer" house, but her whereabouts are currently unknown.

Waterdeep Paranormal

“What do you mean you don’t serve flesh? What kind of zombie party is this?” - Detective Carina Thann 

The Waterdeep City Watch's Paranormal Division is up and running and just in time. 

Inspired by TV shows like Wellington Paranormal, What We Do in the Shadows, and Reno 911, Waterdeep Paranormal features 13 horror-comedy Encounters for characters 1st-5th level. 

In these encounters, you'll accompany Detectives Carina Thann and Myr Lhal as they investigate paranormal happenings around Waterdeep. You'll have a chance to come across the spooky and weird that Waterdeep has to offer.

- Help a ghost captain reclaim his pirate ship, which nobles have hijacked.

- Wrestle the vampire Count Crimson.

- Make a deal with an Erinyes (who's Myr's grandmother) and possibly fight Death itself ... well an avatar of death.

- Have tea with a child and her Deva friend.

- Fight unicorn hooligans.

Each encounter has a reward for characters such as money, discounts, and magic items. These encounters can be played in a standalone adventure, in a Waterdeep campaign, or as part of Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, or Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage.
