Hana practically jumped from the mech she was in as she heard the familiar footsteps padding around behind her. There was really no difference between whether she was launched or she jumped, but either way, she hit the ground easily and turned toward the man.

❛ Lúcio! ❜ She cried out, rushing toward him and throwing her arms around his shoulders. She pulled him close to her chest, holding him there for a few long moments.

Lucio let out an ooomph as Hana gave him a hug. Despite her doing this every time they didn't see each other for a while. It still caught him off guard most of the time. And this time was no exception.

Tell my story, it says. Well, some of you already know it. Some of you don't. If you don't, that's a long one. So sit down, buckle up, and hopefully you'll make it through to the end. In November 2016, I got into a fight. A huge fight, actually, and not the first huge fight to happen. It escalated...

Hey guys, so now that I finally have the emotional energy to do this (and will probably be emotionally drained by the time I hit publish), I want to beg ask you to please go donate to my YouCaring page or at least signal boost. Please do not just like the post and carry on. I really need help and I hate asking for it but I only have a month to make this happen.

Last year I was kicked out of my home (finally; the threat had been looming over me since high school) and I spent a month and a half homeless. Now things were looking okay until I realized the school funding I’m living off of due to disability is about to run out. Financial aid gave me the wrong numbers and I thought I would be safe. I’m not. I’m at risk of losing my apartment and being left with nothing. I’m at risk of not being able to eat all summer (as it is, a friend is already buying me boxes of mac and cheese on sale and dropping them off for me and I have no way to pay her back).

I need $2000 to cover rent/bills/food just to get me through to September when I can reapply for my school funding and, hopefully, more to sustain me because Ontario laws for funding low- and no-income students are changing for the better. But September is really, really far away and I’m disabled (bipolar, newly diagnosed, and a mess of new medications just to help me get through the day), hungry, and scared. On top of that, there’s a questionable $3500 I may or may not need to pay to my school and no one is giving me a straight answer about it.

Apparently my school now wants another $500 out of pocket to secure my spot in the second year of my program. I have no way to pay for this and it’s not covered by financial aid. I’m applying for literally every form of financial support possible but everywhere I go tells me different things and no one seems to know what they’re doing.
