So wow, I could go on and on about kairi and how brave she truly is in the eyes of many kingdom hearts fans these days.. (Especially thanks to the manga of the series). But really, kairi is just absolutely and wonderfully brave for not only her age but for the people she truly cares for. I mean, shes a princess of heart for crying out loud, and one that can kick butt too! (And who doesnt love a butt kicking princess? (✿ ♥‿♥) ) Even in KH 1, with the screen time she actually got near the end of the game, kairi was determined and with bravery in her heart. She was able to save sora in Hollow Bastion from his heartless form, which in her case, only a princess of heart could do. "This time, I'll protect you" was the actually quote she used while trying to save him, instead of the other way around. In KH 2, Kairi played a somewhat even bigger factor for Roxas, Sora, Axel, Riku and even Namine, her nobody, in the games story. In KH 2 games story, Kairi was able to try and escape from being the damsel in distress for both sora and riku. While in the KH 2 Manga series, She specifically goes up against an organization member, Number VII Saix, with no weapon on her but her courage and bravery at the time. Of course there are both similarities in both the video game and manga series of this. But how both creators represent it is a big factor character wise. In other words, Kairi shows that she is brave, kind, sassy, and strong and will take no shit from either series in KH 2 for herself and her loved ones. Even in KH: BBS, Master Aqua could see the potential of strong light in her heart and even so far as try to protect her for such a thing. Kairi really is just a brave person to behold and understand once you give her the chance and Im so glad that I ever did myself. Honestly, if she can do it without no shame, than so can you!
