uM hi sorry I haven’t been on at all. truthfully i lost this muse for awhile. But with all this KH hype going on right now I might try to bring him back - it’ll be a process though and take awhile so don’t get any hopes up that i’ll be back over here right away (can’t promise i’ll come back at all either. He wasn’t going to admit it - ever probably - that sometimes he got lonely. Sora was off on his own little adventure. Playing through some more events recorded in the journal- and Riku couldn’t interfere with that. But pushing around codes was getting all too boring, he needed a change.
So, he decided to leave the datascape for a short awhile. He left a note for Sora in case the other program started to freak out. Then he simply left and went to the first place he could think of – The real Riku’s computer. Was he even here? There was only so much he could see from the webcam.
Having access to a computer wasn’t something that Riku took much advantage of; if anything, he barely used it. Though having the data form appear on the monitor did make him blink, shifting him from his thoughts and ponderings; A silver brow arched slightly in question, undoubtedly, though he didn’t say a word for a while–
How long had it been since he’d seen the other? Far longer than he’d liked.
“Everything alright?”
He didn’t expect Riku to actually be on his computer. He blinked there was definitely an awkward silence for a moment before the real thing started speaking. The program fiddled with the ends of his sleeves before speaking.
“Yeah yeah - everything’s fine. I just– decided to come visit.” He eventually said. “I hope that’s not a problem…? Sorry I haven’t come by earlier.”
It took the other a while to respond, and Riku merely shook his head in response; It wasn’t really a bother – though he had been worried.
“It’s fine,”
He shifted to be a bit more comfortable in front of the computer, brushing a hand through his hair;
“How’ve you been?”
What could he say? He’d been worried.
“Good -- things have been good.” He said, now rubbing at his arm. Was it always this awkward to talk to the real Riku? Maybe. But after a long absence it seemed to be worse than normal.
“Nothing to eventful has happened. It’s mostly Sora causing the trouble now.” He said with a small chuckle. Honestly, when was Sora not causing trouble, that was the question.
“What about you? How’s everyone else?”

Why did he even bother going to the Castle Oblivion datascape anymore? It was not like he ever found anything here. But, there’s a side of him that hopes something new will pop up. Anything that might help the real versions of them on the outside - maybe find a trace of the data versions of Namine and that other person in a black coat. Sora failed to mention a name but if there were more self aware programs around then Riku wanted to know.
He probably shouldn’t stay here long, the castle’s magic could affect his own data. But a quick look around couldn’t hurt right?
Castle Oblivion seemed to be the one place Roxas seemed to come back to on such a frequent basis. There was no particular reason for it, considering it was practically barren, but truthfully, he liked the quiet. The obnoxious noise of other worlds within the Datascape was a bit much for the blond’s liking. Plus, no one ever really ventured in, so it was a nice hiding spot.
But, for once, he heard footsteps echoing off the pure white walls of the castle and they were nearby, to boot. The data-Nobody quickly jumped up from his spot, gloved hands pulling the hood of his coat back over his head before opening a portal and walking through it, hoping he wasn’t spotted.
Maybe he should just head back, it wasn’t looking like he was getting anything this time either. He convinced himself he’d at least look around the corner and mark this path down since he had never been down this way before. He steps around the corner just in time to see the figure in an identical coat running off.
“H-Hey!” Riku is quick to follow, hoping he could make it in time to get through the portal aswell. He pulls his own hood up before just barely being able to make it through the portal. Was this the guy Sora told him about?

The mouse couldn’t hide a small blush- oh gosh was he sure different way back then. Always strivin’ ta just have fun and not worry ‘bout anything bigger than the next fight he could have. It took a lot for him to grow to care about things like the fate of other worlds. But he was glad to be able to strive past that rocky road. Now the folks he used ta pal ‘round with say he has grown too soft. That it was asinine to drop everythin’ and leave home just for the sake of faraway stars.
But that was fine. It was that care for others that allowed him to meet other people. He had grown to cherish that, and it was for their sakes that caused him to go into the data world in the first place.
“Don’t stress if it’s too difficult, Riku.” He stated, hoping to ease any stress this task has brought.
“I’m good either way.” Okay that maybe was a small lie- he really really really wants to find out anything he could. Even hidden data would be better than what they had.
“Well it would be boring if it was to easy, right?” He said, giving a small grin. He didn’t want Mickey worrying about him. This was going to be difficult, but he wouldn’t bore Mickey with the details. It seemed that not many people understood his ‘tech-talk’ anyways. Even the data version of Sora didn’t understand him half of the time, and he was made of data too.
“I’ll try my best and give the Queen any information I find so she can get it to you.” Since he knows that the King probably won’t be here very long. It didn’t seem like this was a social call, plus he knew the king was busy.
“How’s everything out there, though? You haven’t been back in awhile - is there anything else I can do to help?”
The information was hard to take, but she did understand his words quite well, though it still felt like this was her real Riku, not just a data version of himself, but she felt like he was in the same room as her, though he spoke of things she never thought existed. Smiling at the male she looked at her Island on the screen, it was the way it’s always been, bright, colourful, filled with light and love, she missed home, but she was delighted she gathered new information on something she didn’t know anything about. ❝So, you would not be able to travel to the real Island? Even to see Riku in person?❞
“Probably not. I mean - the main island has some technology from what I remember.” The memories that existed off of their play island were a little fuzzy. He had maybe one or two clear memories but besides that, he mainly remembered things that happened on the play island - his relationship with Sora and Kairi.
“But I don’t think any of it could sustain my projection. If there is a computer of some kind I can be in there but trying to project myself might cause the computer to fry.” and that’s putting it lightly. “There’s a chance it won’t but it’s slim.” He said giving a small shrug.
Then came to meeting Riku in person and the data replica lowered his head slightly. “I honestly - don’t know if him or the real Sora know about the datascape. Mickey said he would tell them but none of them have been back in awhile.” There’s a small sigh before he’s shaking his head. “But they’re busy, I get it. Hey, since you’re here why don’t I give you a tour of the castle. Just give me a second to get the projection program up and running again.” Anything to work as a distraction--
“Can’t be to careful with darkness-obsessed maniacs around, now can I?” Riku growls. For a moment, he stares, because this can’t be right. Ansem couldn’t be here – he had never truly existed in the datascape (thanks to Pete’s and Maleificent’s meddling) but the data very vividly remembered him thanks to the memories gotten from his original. So— so was this the real Ansem? Wasn’t he defeated?
“How did you get here?!”
“You do not need to know.” was his short and simple reply. This other Riku however… was rather interesting. So many possibilities, a place created of data, he could learn so much here.
“That’s what you think--” He growled, raising his keyblade. “This is my world! And I don’t want even a trace of you here.” He had a right to say this, he thinks. He was the vessel for the journal, was the journal in a sense.
After those words are said, he charges at Ansem.

okay I’m here and i have the day off of work thank god - i’m not used to working everyday so I was really tired - still kind of am. But I’m gonna get the drafts I owe done at least
I’ll try to get to stuff soon - i’m actually going to have a few days off next week cause someone else was hired. I would say today but I’m really lazy and wanna draw some
I’ve p much been looking at a possible university the entire time I’ve been home for work and it should NOT be making me this depressed ugh
I honestly just feel like shit and I haven’t even done anything but look over the degrees and try to talk about it with my mom

The brunet shook his head, forcing himself to stay awake, to stand upright. He was not sick, darn it! He had a duty to do! A promise to the Datascape! A promise to Riku! He can’t let them down now!
No virus should hold him back! At least, he hoped it was merely a virus, like illnesses that Users had. He’d contained it in himself, anyways; if it was a virus, it was weak enough to be held in. He’ll just find a way to delete it later…
Snap out of it, Sora! he berated himself, knocking the side of his head with a closed fist. Just meet up with Riku and do your usual report!
With that goal in mind, Sora set off to meet up with the other, although he was stumbling in his steps. Was it him or was the Datascape getting wobbly by theminute…?
There was a bad feeling settling into the pit of his stomach. Where was Sora? Wouldn’t he normally be here by now?
Perhaps he’s just worrying to much? Sora could take care of himself. Still - Riku couldn’t shake the feeling that something was very, very, wrong? Maybe something was wrong with the datascape as a whole? With that thought in mind he went to double check everything.
“No..that’s not it--” He mumbles, looking around to see if Sora had come yet.
Honestly, where was he?
