  THREE  YEARS  ISN’T  ENOUGH   to get used to small town life. jiseong has been definably a city person, and fond of everything it entails, from traffic jams and poor air quality to vibrant lights and the anonymity of being one in millions. ‘home’ just isn’t a word that he feels like applying to this village he can comfortably walk across, one end to another, in far less than the span of a day. it’s more like an extended stay at a terrible vacation resort, save for the fact that there’s still business to conduct ( and it’s less permissible to day-drink yourself into oblivion. )

  it’s only loosely that jiseong can say there’s a reason to be out this early, plotting a careful path around the busier intersections of the village streets. he’s proud to say he’s made an effort to tame his hair and even coordinated an outfit, the result of which is a jacket probably made for someone with more muscle on their body than his own thin frame can boast, but this time there’s no dagger tucked up the sleeve and that’s got to count for something. 

  ah, the reason for all the effort? it’s there---he’s there, through some combination of luck and good guesswork on jiseong’s part. what he knows about the other boy is a spare handful of details: lives in the village, evidently catches fish, loner. 

  there’s no attempt on jiseong’s part to disguise his approach, though he does his best to bend his head and look suitably embarrassed about the fact that he’s doing this. ( he’s not. not in the slightest. )   ❛ um, excuse me? i think … i’ve seen you around here before, yeah? ❜   it’s a shame he can’t fake a blush to go with it.   ❛ ... are you busy? ❜     /     @alterhanbyul

hello everyone i’m a bit late to the intro party but i’m finally here~! my name’s daisy, i’m here to pilot one of your resident snakes :,) bio and profile pages could use a little more tweaking but they’re up, & i’ll stick some bullet point info on jiseong under the cut as well --- as for plots etc. just let me know if you prefer tumble chat or discord, i have one that i barely use but i can give it out. now, with that: 

jiseong is 26, he’s basically a grouchy old man at this point 

he just wants to go back to his life and job in seoul 

he only joined alterscape because of his nerd little brother, who got himself killed like a week into the game

jiseong was kind of a despondent mess after that and has never really addressed his feelings in a healthy way

silent vipers picked him up pretty early on, really in their first recruitment sweep. he knows they’re slimy but he doesn’t care. or ... he does care, but feels a little helpless to do anything about it, so he’s just playing along for now

he’s not a fighter and doesn’t like getting his hands dirty, but he pulls his weight by collecting info for the guild. if he’s talking to anyone, it’s probably because they did something interesting / noticeable and he’s out to find out how the guild can play off that.

his manners might seem nice but he’ll sell anyone to satan for one corn chip

i have a couple plots & wanted connections that i should hopefully be able to post soon, but in the meantime let’s plot! give this post a like or something and i’ll drop you messages!
