Outdoor/artificial light experiment.

After taking part in the experimental photography lesson I decided to have a go myself at home. I got my cousin and sister to help me. 

This was again, experimental, so they’re not perfect and looking at them now there are a lot of new ideas flowing to my brain that I could have used to create better photos. But overall I am happy with the result.

Here are some of many photos I took while experimenting with different techniques in photography the other week. 

First we took photos of balloon bursting. This was interesting to see the different ways the balloons burst when held and poked differently.

We then did ghosting. I particularly liked this photo of the people spinning on the spot as their movement is very obvious. The slow shutter speed really captures movement well. 

Then we used something the complete opposite, a fast shutter speed. This captured an action shot very well. I really like this photo as everyone is in view and doing something completely different.

Lastly we went into the dark room where we did some light drawing. This photo was a practice one where we tried to make him look like a devil. I love how the light looks and how you can see it’s trail.
