if you don't care about the well being of gamefreak employees who are probably being crunched to hell and back with all these new games being put out you should be aware that games are better when they take longer to make. I don't just mean visually speaking, frankly I think the obsession with games "looking better" is pointless, i mean like gameplay wise story wise design wise etc. i don't want a new pokemon game every few years (or even every year as it's starting to look like) I want a pokemon game that takes as long as it needs to be made into a good game, and while we're at it I would certainly hope no crunching was involved to get it finished.
