Seojun lightly patted Dubu, who was propped on his lap and snoozing the day away. The two of them had just returned from the groomers, and the thought of the party eventually came to Seojun thinking of Elizabeth. He was a little worried - more for Elizabeth than Dubu, since Dubu has been trained to ignore distractions once the vest was on.

Seojun’s hands were shaking slightly as he sent the unfinished text - he hoped Yoosung would reply right away. At the same time, he was anxious that Yoosung might worry at the unfinished text - he hated making people worry. Setting his phone down, Seojun quickly made for Dubu’s leash, something that would make it easier for the man to carry her in case, and his own medication, quickly taking a pill and swallowing it dry - if worst came to worst, he’d have to go alone, and maybe the medication would at least ease his people anxiety.

Seojun usually takes Dubu out for walks later in the evening, to avoid the larger crowds. It wasn’t like he disliked people... no, he just... it was... just hard to interact with them. But today, Seojun had no choice but to walk his dog in midday - he had an evening shift at the local grocer, so there was no chance to walk Dubu at that same time.

Almost suddenly, his dog began tugging on the leash, happily barking and leading him forwards. Confused, but letting the dog take the lead, Seojun just merely followed, only to clam up when realising what got his dog so excited - it was a person, holding up some food that Dubu apparently liked. Embarrassed, Seojun tugged at Dubu’s collar, signing out an apology to the person. “S-sorry! My dog got too excited with your food - she’s still a puppy!”

Yay~ I just finished the horrible term 3 of my course - everyone says its the hardest one of my program~ (In fact, I kinda actually did an all-nighter the other day. I spent the entire night on campus working X.x; )

And somehow during my huge rush to finish all my projects, I got quite a few followers on @altxnate, so that means I’ll be doing a few greeter starters… 

i would have done it yesterday/earlier, but I literally passed out on my bed for nearly 13 hours…

For once, Seojun had a slow day - no programming projects, and no work at the small little grocer that night - so it was mostly a stay-in day. He had Dubu, his absolutely fluffy, white dog on his lap while he just watched TV. In one of his hands, Seojun held his phone, just casually waiting for either another guest to email him, or for someone to log into the chat.

A tiny beep alerted him of someone entering the chatroom, and he quickly lifted his phone, jostling Dubu a little and earning him a small whine.

Seojun: Ah, Jumin, hello Seojun: How’s your cat wine project coming along? Seojun: Successfully, I hope?

Why did you decide to give your mc selective mutism and a surgical mask? It sounds oddly familiar???

The selective mutism was actually inspired by one of my favourite characters, Ludger Will Kresnik from Tales of Xillia 2, who is a silent protag, as well as one of my own OCs, who is also mute (but not selective - an injury caused it). Actually… Seojun is heavily based on Ludger, if I sit down and think about it… Owo;;;

The surgical mask was something inspired after the face claim of Seojun - Shirotani, from a yaoi manga, as well as something I’ve read up on. Surgical masks are often worn to prevent airborne sickness from spreading, but it has also come to mean that a person doesn’t want to be spoken to - kind of like how when a person wears headphones, they’re not open for conversation.

If there’s a character who is like this, then … owo;; WHOOPS.

 Perhaps it was a subconscious effort on Jihyun’s part to log into the messenger when the chance of everyone being away or asleep would be certainly high, but he is not particularly surprised to find that he is not alone when he finishes catching up on the archive of days worth of texts. It’s probably one of the very few times that he finds himself alone with R.F.A.’s newest member, however.

Seojun never really told the RFA about his anxiety or the medication he takes for it, but he had a pretty strong suspicion that some of them suspected, especially with his initial nervousness about taking up the role of party host. He was actually tempted to go and run, during that first day, but for some odd reason, Seojun stuck it through...
