Part of the reason Season 3 of Dawsons Creek is so fantastic and the Joey/Pacey arc is so epic is due to Joshua Jackson’s impeccable portrayal of a boy  hopelessly in love with a girl he never knew he’d even think twice about and despite all his conscious, desperate efforts to stop it from happening he can not help but fall for her. I mean literally the way he seamlessly moves from sparring mate to supportive friend, to desperate and overwhelmed lovesick puppy, to world’s most perfect, charming, steadfast, unselfish leading man is SO FLAWLESSSSSSS gawd i love him
