my Charlie muse is incredibly sporadic anyway, but I don't think I can write her with the levels of cringe we saw in episode 3, personally. I was dying from second hand embarrassment.

Like, I think this will be something her character will learn and develop from (the whole steamrolling her friends and their boundaries just because she's desperate and impulsive), or at least I very much hope so. And if I do any threads with her I will acknowledge that this stuff happened. But personally I would rather die than write her being that cringe. Aha... *cries*

Offhand, going off what Jeremy Jordan says about Lucifer "being a bit gullible"... I guess that's where Charlie gets it from 🫠

There is a sudden crash (at least it feels like one) as she nearly trips backwards, managing to catch her balance after a moment or two

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry!" This is what she gets for having her head in the clouds... and that's not even touching on the dangers of the city streets. Actually, bumping into someone was one of the more pleasant of possible outcomes.

As freakishly tall as Stolas was (with or without hat), he had a fairly good sense of balance, and managed not to trip too much. "Oh! No, really, it's my fault-"

He paused as he helped her up. "Is that... Charlie? Hell, I haven't seen you in..." How long had it been, actually? If Lucifer was absent, his daughter seemed even moreso. "What are you doing amongst the commoners?" Like he were one to talk!

"In the flesh!" She laughed, and gratefully accepted his helping her back up. "Thank you."

"And well, I've been working on a project that involves the Sinners. What about yourself, Stolas? I haven't seen you in ages either! ....especially not out here." Not that she was one to judge, she rather felt that it was a bit silly and rather stuck up for royalty to avoid commoners.

*Edith made a squeal like noise since she does like to look at the sky from books that either her dad,her mom,or Charlie reads for her since she loves the colors. She pounded onto the book with her fists to give it as her confirmination since picture books are always her favorites to look at at with random pictures just being a thing for her random fixation.*

"I'll take that as a yes!" So she'll settle down and set Edith in her lap to read the little picture book to her. At least her sister was easy to entertain, and her little excited reactions were so cute!

Fuck yes, Aunt Bee knew about the hotel already! That's something! Ooh, a candy apple. She'll take it with. "Thank you! And yeah, I totally should come to one of your parties!"

"But I also need to show you the hotel!! We rebuilt recently and it'll be open to the public again soon! Ooh, ooh, let me tell you all about my plan to save Sinners!" Charlie is practically buzzing with excitement.

Charlie was probably the only hellborn that Adam didn't hate....at least as much. Oh he hated her at first. She was the reason he was here. It was because if her stupid dreams that he was never going to go home...that he was trapped in this decaying building forever.

But she was so kind and sweet that it helped chip away some of the rage he had to her. He'd never stop resenting the spoiled little princess....but he could tolerate her more.

" No.....I'm not really hungry..."

Something the Adam from before wouldn't have said. The glutton at the Embassy had become very thin, muscle built up from almost non-stop yard work.

He just looked....bad.

Adam still stared at the guitar, his hollow eyes no longer able to cry.....feel sorrow. Nothing.

"......I've tried picking it up to play something and....and I just start feeling sick. Like I get nauseous if I think about my music. "

The worst thing about Hell....it destroyed everything you could love. And for Adam....it destroyed his love of food and music.

Charlie would frown at the refusal, taking a seat across from Adam as she'd set the plate of cookies on a surface. She'd glance at the dusty guitar. At one point, Adam had clung to his music. It was sad to see him let that go. It's like he was only getting worse, and she doesn't know how to stop it.

And he really didn't look well physically either... Sinners could only permanently die by angelic weaponry, but Adam's thinning condition concerned her anyway.

"Could I convince you to eat even just one cookie? I promise they're good!"
