“I came alone. The bothersome imp was asleep when I left.” He frowned. Jaken was a constant nuisance to him. At least when Rin traveled with him, she seemed to keep him busy most of the time, but now that she was staying with the humans, his clingy manner had only worsened.

[ ❄ ] 'Bothersome', Rin frowned at that notion. Was Jaken really becoming bothersome to him since she had been away? To say the least, she didn't like something bothering Sesshomaru, but she could only wonder how the imp was 'annoying' him. "I see.. Well! Maybe a nice rest will do him some good!-- Then he might calm down from what ever he is doing that seems to displease you!"

[ ❄ ] "That is good! It wouldn't be too good if you did." A small giggle slipped from her lips as she tilted her head. "Ne, Lord Sesshomaru, did you come alone this time? I don't see jaken-- Or did he fall behind again.." She said rather doumb foundedly as she looked side to side.

[ ❄ ] Turning her head faintly, the young girl looked over to her side. A bright smile crept it’s way onto her lips as she caught the sight of her lord. “Lord Sesshomaru!” Rin uttered in excitement of his return, though, how short would it be this time she thought in the back of her head.

“Oh, Rin.” He said softly, offering a small smile, patting the girl atop her head.  “Have you been well?”
