haha- still stuck in saboace/acesabo hell

like even if they were dating, i think that whenever either of them tried to do something even vaguely romantic, the other one would do something to spoil the mood/make the other laugh- it’s just ace’s turn to be a lil shit

“You-” Sabo’s expression isn’t betrayed. “You lied to me.”

He doesn’t even look hurt.

“I’ve lied before.”

He’s-

Confused.

Devastated. 

In shock. 

“Not to me,” Sabo says, voice wavering, and Ace can see the moment that his heart starts to crack. “Never to me.”

His eyes are wild, desperate to believe a lie, only the problem with that is Sabo’s been living one and his logic, his desire for the truth-

It won’t let him stay in blissful ignorance any longer.

“I can’t hurt you,” Ace breathes almost desperately, and Sabo’s lip curls in anger, because anger is what will let him speak, what will let him breathe, what will keep him on his feet instead of collapsing to his knees, because his whole world is doing the same and he has to start carrying the weight of it. 

“To bad.”
