This photo from the Grand Prix Final is basically my favorite photo ever because it has so many of my faves in it. Obviously, Chock/Bates are my favorite team. I also love Nguyen/Kolesnik because their lifts are amazing and their lines are beautiful. Alysa Liu is the cutest girl in the world and I just love seeing how happy she is on the ice. Papadakis/Cizeron are also something truly special.
Even though N/K had a mistake in the twizzles today, I believe in them to bring it back for the free dance! They skate with such a mature quality, and I hope that they can still win.
Of course, Alysa is skating tomorrow, and I will definitely be watching! She has so much potential and I’m so excited!

Both her triple axels were very easy and clean. Other than the mistake on the Quad Lutz (it was underrotated) that was a gorgeous program from Alysa Liu. Her skating is so much more mature this year, and though she’s still got some improving to do in that area, it was still so amazing.

Alysa is a two-time, two-in-a-row US Nationals champion; first time since Ashley Wagner! I’m so proud of this girl, and I’m so happy for her. She deserves this 100% and did so well, even with her UR on her quad; she kept fighting. She also looks so much better, and has improved so much since the JGPF in December; I can’t wait to see this little cutie at Junior Worlds, and I hope she becomes the champ/gold medalist. Ps, she is such a sweetheart, giving her second medal to her dad (too), omg, can I adopt her now jk?! I wish more people were as humble and as appreciative as she is. Alysa is a good example of how people should act & be. Love her 3000. <3

We love that kind of sportsmanship & maturity. We need to see this more often in fs from fellow skaters and their coaches; Alysa and Coach Lipetsky are an example of how skaters should act and treat each other/one another, even if they don’t do anything as grand as sitting to watch them skate and whatnot; smaller gestures also make so much of a difference, even if people don’t think so. You don’t have to be or make friends with the person to be a good sport and (a) human being.
Alysa is your 2019 JGPF Silver Medalist. Please, pay your respects now; she did amazing. And yes, she does have flaws, but she still did amazing and was happy; she enjoyed herself and that’s all that truly matters.
Also, congrats to my other bby, Kamila on being the JGPF Gold Medalist (I’m a Kamila and Alysa Love Bot if you can’t tell already, protect them both at all costs), you deserve it so much, and I hope you fully-recover soon. You proved that even quadless Kamila is still amazing and that you CAN win without 3as and quads these days. It’s all about the quality and it truly was amazing quality nevertheless.
I’m so proud of all the competitors that skated today; you all did amazing, and you all did your best. I love each and every one of you so much! Never stop fighting or let people get you down; Stay strong bbys! <3
