Wow! Like most, I'm very surprised! Wishing Kaori a lot of happiness with her new life and a lot of love!! ❤️
This quad has been stressful for him. I remember this one interview (before beijing 2022 maybe) where yuma said that he admired shoma because he didn't give up and continued to practice hard even when he was having a hard time. He also said that if he was in Shoma's situation, he'd have quit.
I want him to know that he has become much stronger than what he thought himself to be. That even with all this weight on his shoulders, he kept moving forward, improving and showing amazing results.
Taking a break next season means that he'll be able to focus on himself and his love for skating. To a stubborn kid that pushed through even with injuries, I think it shows incredible growth.
I'm happy for him, I truly am. I'm still kind of processing it. It'll probably hit sometime later, maybe at the start of the season, who knows. But I'll know he'll come back because he said so himself.
Go Yuma! 🥰
The overscoring on components isn't good for the sport or the athletes and ends up biting their heads off as we've seen already and will see again if things don't change.
Yuma with the best skate of the night and one of the best in figure skating ever? You bet!!!! Best skating skills and interpretation by a mile! So happy he got his clean Yumadot!!!
And Shun got the bronze to close off an amazing season! Way to go, my boy!!! 🥰
One of these days Adam Siao Him Fa will have two clean skates and medal! I like him a lot, he's done it before, he can do it again!
Kevin Aymoz was amazing, Selevko was great, too!!! And many more, I'm going out of breath here!😄 Such a lovely event from the men!!!

Today, one of the greatest of all times gave us her best and last perfomance of her career. Our beautiful Kaori.
Kaori,
Eight years ago I saw you making your senior debut and I knew there was something special in your skating. I had the privilege to see you become Bronze Olympic Medalist in 2022 and win 4 World Titles. I saw you grow, improve, and transform this sport with your power, your smiles, your charisma, and beautiful soul.
Know that you gave us all. You did your best.
What a program to finish your career. All I could do was sob all the way through.
Thank you for all my dear Kaori Sakamoto.
Kaori had told Rinka to be ready as an alternate for worlds because she was likely going to withdraw but then after the olympics she wanted to go and asked Rinka if that was ok and Rinka said "i want to watch you compete, so please go" let's just all live.
What a podium❤️❤️❤️
Kaori Sakamoto - Last skates of her career, 238.28 (PB)
Time To Say Goodbye (Short Program), 79.73 (SB)
La Vie en rose/Hymne à l’amour/Non, je ne regrette rien (Free Skate), 158.97 (PB)
I saw Kaor LIVE in her last performance, winning the 4th world champion title 🥹
She was magnificent. I'm in awe of her mental strength to deliver such an incredible performance tonight. The arena was roaring and she kept it cool and focused. It was so beautiful, strong, artistic - moved me to tears again.
There's a Polish song that comes to my mind when I think about Kaori leaving the sport. It goes like 'one should know when it's time to eave the stage - undefeated'. Even though I'm sad we won't see Kaori in competition anymore, I feel this is THE moment for her to close this chapter.
This girl rekindled my passion for this sport. It was my first ever live fs event and it feels so special for me to see her final competitive performance. Kaori always embodied true sportsmanship spirit to me, striving for the best and yet being humble, as well as kind and supportive towards other athletes.
In times when it seemed this sport would be dominated by teenagers for years to come, Kaori gave us programs of strong female protagonists such as herself - and she did so with incredible peecision and artistry. Thank you for all you did for this sport Kaori. Thank you for all the tears I shared with you. It was an honor.

I'm not ready to say goodbye to Kaori, the Competitor, but I'm so ready not to be on to edge of my seat, biting my nails everytime she competes. I'm simply too emotionally invested! I do have favorites amongst the incoming crop of skaters and even more amongst the ones remaining, but neither of them comes even close to how much I love Kaori! I'm so happy that she had that beautiful final skate at Worlds and is leaving on a positive note, although, even if she weren't here or hadn't won, she'd still be the best of the best!
Once again, thank you for everything, Kaori!

yuma didn’t have a clean sp which mean turandot will be squeaky clean and he will be at the top of podium I’ve connected the dots
