I finally built a community lot for weddings and parties in general! I'd actually started to build it a few weeks ago, but lost steam after I did most of the exterior. Then, lucky me, the Party Essentials kit got converted by @tvickiesims and the rest of the talented crew, so I got a lot of inspiration to finish it up!

Since I have buy mode enabled on community lots, I'll be able to change up the colour scheme of the decor depending on the party. There's a couple spots for cute photo ops, I never use the antique camera object but this would be such a cute lot to do it! Hard to place the cameras close enough that it looks realistic but not so close that it gets in the way of the shot. But I think I found a happy medium.

Most of the chairs are on walk around or walk through blocks so I could cram them closer together without routing issues. Only thing I might do after one last look is move down the balloon decorations above the photoshoot area indoors.

To put it bluntly, I hated it here. I was not adjusting well like mama had promised I would. Though the town itself was well populated with plenty to do, I hadn't made any friends at my new school yet and everything seemed too quiet for my taste. The people here were different from the city folk, a bit stuck up if you ask me.

Our next door neighbor is an elderly widow who seemed to be angry all of the time. Even when mama had brought her one of her home made pies, she declined the gesture and not politely as I was told, I wasn't there to witness the interaction. Word around school was she murdered multiple husbands and had their corpses buried spontaneously through out her garden, just beyond her white picket fence, but mama says it's hearsay and I shouldn't put my nose into it.

The only good thing that's come of this move so far is Motown. A cute little pup mama and daddy adopted for me. I think they got sick of seeing my face shoved into a book while withering away in my bedroom all day long. Either way, he's a good distraction.
