DWG: "where are you from?"

Me: "hi, i'm from san francisco."

DWG: "no, where are your PARENTS from?"

Me: "(i know where this is going) -__- they're from Bakersfield."

DWG: "that's boring. you look like you're from Asia."

Me: "what do you mean 'I look like I'm from Asia?' Asia is comprised of a lot of different countries."

DWG: "whoa look i think you're taking this offensively. i studied in Eastern Asia for many years. i lived in Cambodia, Thailand, Bangladesh and those are some of the nicest, most hard working people i've ever met."

Me: "cool, what did you study there?"

DWG: "look i just want to know where you're from. i really like Eastern Asian but not Western Asia or Africa."

Me: "the thing is i'm not from any of those countries [that you mentioned]. if you're trying to ask about my ETHNICITY--

DWG: "wow. wow. you're totally taking this the wrong way..mumble.mumble..I LOVE EASTERN ASIANS. you seem to think really negatively about your own people........"

Me: -_______- get the fuck away from me you ignorant asshole. i bet you don't even know what Filipinos are! but can i ask WHERE IN EUROPE ARE YOUR PARENTS FROM?!?????"

....is what i should of said, but i was too stunned to even say anything so i just shook my head and walked away.
