“I feel like I’m in the wrong world. ‘Cause I don’t belong in a world where we don’t end up together, I don’t. There are parallel universes out there where this didn’t happen. Where I was with you, and you were with me. And whatever universe that is, that’s the one where my heart lives in.”
Comet (2014) Dir. Sam Esmail
“My body is the most revolting thing I own. I know this. I have bruised it too many times to think of it as beautiful. Good riddance. Beautiful cannot contain what this body represents. That I am still here. In this body. After countless times of trying to leave it.”

“Do not think for one second that you are anything less than extraordinary. I promise you that there is nothing ordinary about you, and it is magnificent.”

let me be selfish for once. covered in your skin instead of small talk. never said outright that that i wanted to go down on you. i can’t though. i want to go down on the parts of you that are never sure about anything. i’ll kiss the bad parts too. save me your ‘i miss you’s.’ i want you more than i need you. i need some sleep but i don’t want it without you. i’m jealous of all the house hold appliances that get to wake up in the same room as you. everything that gets to be still or covered in your perfume. i think about you dancing. about the music boxes ballerinas fall asleep in. i want to be the song that helps you breathe. when you have to cancel plans i want you to tell people it’s because you’re busy getting lost in my hands. in my head there are so many places to take you. an adventure every day. it’s not an alternate reality really. it’s a chance. it’s all the maybes caught in your throat being quiet forever. it’s a chance to let my dreams breathe. it’s a postcard from all the places we could possibly dare ourselves to go. i’m sorry i’m so awkward. i don’t mean to smile so much when you’re around. i can’t help it. it’s just that life is trying to kill me. it’s trying to smooth my edges and make everything ache. i don’t want to ache anymore. i want to be the one you call to say goodnight to. the one who holds you when the bough breaks. the one who gets to hear the good news first. give me the good news. i swear i’m trying to give up these ghosts. what i’m trying to say is i like you. i like you.
