I went to a somewhat local huge used book sale they have in a warehouse and it was 25 cent day, so I was just buying things that looked remotely interesting because greed and consumerism and all that. But anyway, I picked up a few music annuals because they had pretty pictures, and I just kind of threw this one on top of the pile without even glancing through it or knowing that it may be one of the coolest books I now own. When I got home, I opened it and the first page I saw included a huge beautiful picture of Bryan Ferry... and the opposite page had a random picture of Sparks... with no corresponding information about the band, just "here's a random pic of Sparks kthxbai" and subsequent pages feature Devo and Gary Numan and I haven't even looked through the whole book yet... Jesus...
