Character study drawings - "The Fight" series โ๐ฅ
The result of a drawing exercise in which I use a bunch of screen shots of my two favorite drawing subjects ๐ from an episode of Voyager (in this case, The Fight) as references for pencil sketching in my sketchbook.
They're not perfect but I was actually rather pleased with the way they turned out, and I thought some of you may get a kick out of them too so I'm sharing ๐ฅฐ
If you're curious about the process, I drew the basic sketches with a pencil in my sketchbook and then moved them to my ipad to fix some things (usually the eyes ๐ and noses) and to add the shading.
This was fun, I might do more in the future! ๐ Any episode requests? ๐

Note: Though we saw Chakotay with a spear in Voy's "Waking Moments," this comic is mostly inspired by Prodigyโs "the Last Flight of the Protostar," in which Chakotay is able to free the kids from the net with one throw ๐๐ผ - that takes some serious skills (and confidence that he wasnโt going to hit his catch ๐)!
