Character study drawings - "The Fight" series ✏🥊

The result of a drawing exercise in which I use a bunch of screen shots of my two favorite drawing subjects 😉 from an episode of Voyager (in this case, The Fight) as references for pencil sketching in my sketchbook.

They're not perfect but I was actually rather pleased with the way they turned out, and I thought some of you may get a kick out of them too so I'm sharing 🥰

If you're curious about the process, I drew the basic sketches with a pencil in my sketchbook and then moved them to my ipad to fix some things (usually the eyes 🙄 and noses) and to add the shading.

This was fun, I might do more in the future! 😄 Any episode requests? 😉

Sketchbook doodling (from episode stills)

So whenever I haven't drawn in a while or just want to hone my skills or am not feeling particularly inspired (which may or may not be the case at the moment😉) I like to try and sketch Janeway and Chakotay from random Voyager episode stills in my notebook.

Above is my most recent one! I'm rather pleased with how they came out, so I thought I'd share! And of course some of you might get a kick out of it, given the subjects of my doodling 😋 The only thing I added digitally is the hair "color".

I'm particularly proud of my Mortal Coil Chakotay (which incidentally is from one of my all-time favorite Chakotay scenes)!
