I am working in the moment on a presentation on my work and here a few slides where I talk about my streams and I just like to look at how my digital art skills have evolved :3

Character study drawings - "The Fight" series ✏🥊

The result of a drawing exercise in which I use a bunch of screen shots of my two favorite drawing subjects 😉 from an episode of Voyager (in this case, The Fight) as references for pencil sketching in my sketchbook.

They're not perfect but I was actually rather pleased with the way they turned out, and I thought some of you may get a kick out of them too so I'm sharing 🥰

If you're curious about the process, I drew the basic sketches with a pencil in my sketchbook and then moved them to my ipad to fix some things (usually the eyes 🙄 and noses) and to add the shading.

This was fun, I might do more in the future! 😄 Any episode requests? 😉

So I was suggested to tag the pookies in an easier way for people to find them, but seriously, it's impossible to tag every post I made so far if I don’t wanna go insane in the process.

I always use the #911 fanart tag in my doodles, for the ones i posted before today.

And from now on, pookies will be also tagged under #mypookiedoodles, and #mynotpookiedoodles for the rest.

I hope this is helpful for whoever wants to scroll throw the silly pookies sometime, and if you know a better way, feel free to tell me 🫶🏻

I've had this on my mind for a while but I wasn't sure how to say it because I was really worried you would think I thought Viatica was bad but... I just wanted to say that I feel like there's a strong improvement in your skill between Viatica and Cantata.

I loved Viatica and I think its totally great!! But wow, Cantata is even better. I just feel like its very clear in Cantata's writing that you have grown even more as a writer since then. I hope thats okay for me to say (I dont mean to imply you weren't also good when you were writing Viatica because you were!) I wanted to acknowledge it because it's both impressive and a delight to see.

Viatica was a first in many ways—first fictional work in nearly 30 years, first IF, first foray into coding, first time putting myself out there publicly as a writer. I actually hope I’ve improved since then, lol.

I, too, feel that my writing has improved since Viatica, so it’s actually affirming and encouraging to hear that you think the same. I very much appreciate you telling me so. Also, I want to let you know I saw your other ask and I very much appreciate that, too. Thank you for your words, both here and then. ❤️
