Ahh thanks I'm glad! Lmao I think most of them would at least frown over it but here are the ones I think would be most over the top!
Mikey- He is pouting so much over this. You forgot to kiss him!!!! He needs that kiss!!! He just sits there grumbling to himself the whole time you're gone, vaguely wondering if this counts as an emergency and if he needs to call Draken. He soon gets over it when you get back though, especially if you picked up some of his favourite snack food.
Sanzu- Oh no, you're absolutely not getting away with this. Runs out of the house and chases you down the street just to get his kiss. He doesn't care if anyone on the street is watching.
Izana- He hates this, why didn't you kiss him??? The question keeps repeating in his head the whole time you're gone. Fidgets while you're gone then immediately corners you when you get back. Now you have to give him multiple kisses for that mistake, he's going to make sure you don't forget again.
Kazutora- Another one who pouts as soon as you forget. You always give him a goodbye kiss so where was it!? Vaguely wonders if he did something wrong or forgot if today was special in some way but quickly realises it's just a normal day. Is a bit clingy towards you when you get back.
Wakasa- Catches your wrist just before you close the door, pulling you back towards him. If you're going to forget to kiss him, then he'll just take it.
Koko- Calls you straight away to tell you that you forgot. He also keeps a secret tally of kisses you "owe" him, so expect him to cash in on that later (he just loves your kisses a lot).
Ran- Laughs and says it's cute how you think you can just "forget'. Kisses you himself as you go to walk out the door. Expect him to take advantage of your mistake later too.
Rindou- Frowns as soon as you leave. He was sitting there all patiently, waiting for your kiss but instead you just walked out the door. Texts you a bunch of frowny faces the whole time you're gone then makes sure he get's his kiss when you get back.
Shinichiro- Gasps as soon as you leave and he realises. Expect to be engulfed in a big hug when you get back as he peppers you with kisses. He also reminds you a lot more before you leave now.
Hanma- Locks the door so you can't get back in and demands you give him the "password" to get in. It takes you awhile to figure it out but the "password" is just the kiss you forgot.
having recently re-read the Republic Commando books for the fiftieth time (but the first time as a proper adult), amongst many other things that jumped out at me this time, I've been pondering the Many Failings of Kal Skirata™ - and one thing that kept me awake the other night was the realisation that...it takes Kal ages between adopting Ordo and the rest of his brothers, right??
So I went back and did the math. Kal adopts Ordo in True Colours, soon after rescuing Vau on Mygeeto, at 471 days after the Battle of Geonosis (ABG). An excerpt from the scene below:
"I never adopted you formally," Skirata said. It had been bothering him in recent days, ever since he began to think of the war as having a definite timescale. "Any of you."
"Does that matter?"
Skirata now felt that it did. No Mando'ad would nitpick over the bond between him and his boys, and as far as the Republic was concerned clones didn't even qualify as people, but his plans to give them a decent future had now become very, very specific.
[...]
"Yes," he said. He reached to grasp Ordo's hand and recited the short, no-frills gai bal manda - "name and soul," all it took to unpick history and give a child a new parentage. Mandalorians were habitual adopters. Bloodlines were just medical detail. "Ni kyr'tayl gai sa'ad, Ordo."
Ordo stared at their clasped hands for a moment. He had a crushing grip. "I've been your son since the day you first saved my life, Buir."
"I think you boys did the saving," Skirata said. "I don't want to imagine where I'd be without you."
Skirata was now busy hating himself for not doing this before, not making the ultimate commitment, and he fretted about his five other Nulls scattered around the galaxy.
And having re-read this section in detail, it now baffles me even further that it takes him - wait for it - ANOTHER YEAR AND ~THREE MONTHS to adopt the other five Nulls??
Yes, that's correct. Kal adopts the other five Nulls in Order 66, in the scene where they all come together 'on screen' for the first time, which is set 940 days ABG. That is 469 days after he formally adopted Ordo.
At the time KT wrote these books, according to Legends, one standard year is 368 days, with 12 months of 30 days each. If I've crunched correctly, Kal adopts the other five Nulls roughly fifteen and a half months later than Ordo.
And OHHHH:
The meal was as much a rare celebration as a meeting, and the Nulls even had a few glasses of Chandrilan wine. "I should have done this many years ago, adi'ke." Skirata raised his glass. "Ni kyr'tayl gai sa'ad - Mereel, Jaing, Kom'rk, A'den, Prudii. There. It's formal, legal. You're my sons and heirs."
"And we won't bankrupt you," Jaing muttered.
"Not with the amount you're skimming, ner vod," Mereel said raising his glass in return. "Thank you, Buir'ika. An honor."
At least one cause for guilt had been lifted from Ordo's shoulders. He was no longer the only Null formally adopted by Skirata. It was a legal detail, nothing more, but Ordo didn't want to be singled out as the favorite. He already felt he had a far easier time than his brothers.

Reading this back again, all I could think was - poor Ordo. It's explicitly stated here that he had been feeling and still feels guilty. Imagine living with the knowledge that your father had only formally adopted you, and not the other five of your closest brothers, for OVER A YEAR- (I will keep yelling it I'm not over it)
When they all make jokes about him being the Number One Son. When they all tease him for being the favourite. How do you think this knowledge affected Ordo’s relationship with his brothers?? Not wanting to mention it?? Do you think he ever did?? How do you think they reacted if they knew he was already adopted prior to this??
Not to mention, how does Kal not see this as something that might cause an issue for Ordo?? With how much he loves him??
I find their reactions interesting, because if they didn't know, they play it very cool. I'm leaning towards they did know, Ordo didn't just sit on this knowledge for over a year, maybe couldn't - because otherwise, why is no one asking why Kal left him out of the list? Why is their only reaction calm pleasantries?
Possibly because they don't care about formal adoption that much - it's worth noting Ordo's reaction is also to kind of brush it all away: "I've been your son since the day you first saved my life, Buir."
(I think it also opens up a bigger discussion about Ordo's role within his brothers as...almost a shield between Kal and his brothers, able to take the brunt of Kal's...manipulations to spare them the same attention - I wonder if they don't care as much about their adoptive status because it doesn't mean nearly as much to them as it does to Kal, because Kal doesn't rule them as much as he'd like to think he does. It’s interesting how Ordo is both uncomfortable with the position as Number One Son but also sees its…strategic value?? He states earlier in the scene that he'll swap drafts with Kom'rk because it's "his turn" to explore the Outer Rim, but as far as we know, he never actually does this - despite missing each other dearly, often, do the other Nulls willingly take missions that get them away from Kal? Which is why Ordo is almost never shown being anywhere that Kal isn't? Also the irony that so many people laugh at Maze for being a highly trained ARC being "wasted" in an office job, but Ordo also as far as we see never does anything flashier, nothing that couldn't be handled by a less superior officer, nothing that's far from Kal's side...)
ANYWAY
I’m just baffled as to how Kal didn’t think immediately after adopting Ordo “and now the other five” - my man, what took you so long?? If you love them all as you say you do??
For a while I was stuck on Miyuki's character, but I think I've been able to figure him out a bit lol.
-Miyuki relies on trust. He just wouldn't be in a relationship with someone that he doesn't know well or trust. It takes him a while to truly open up and be genuine, and he just wouldn't do that with a person he feels he can't trust.
-It does take him a while to feel comfortable. But the chances are, if he's dating you then he's already thought about various things in depth, like if he's ready for that and he feels he can devote himself to a relationship.
-He's very passionate with everything that he does so that translates to relationships as well. While baseball is always his priority, his relationship would be too. He'd be busy a lot but I think that he'd be the person to make sure you always feel loved.
-Things like texting brief messages throughout the day updating you on his day and asking about yours, sending a dumb meme or gif so that you know he's thinking about you and making sure you eat.
-He doesn't have a lot of time to cook because he's busy practicing but he'll at least prep the meal.
-He's not exactly a big fan of PDA but not entirely against it. If he's joking around, it'd be easier for him to be a bit more affectionate around other people. Like a kiss on the cheek, ruffling your head, or even tickling you to annoy you.
-He can be extremely blunt. So you can always expect him to keep it real with you. He tells the whole truth, and in the process he may hurt your feelings with it. If he does, then he'll apologize awkwardly and in his own way.
-Miyuki is very sarcastic so he'd like if you can bite back.
-For affection in general, he enjoys cuddling. He gives good hugs but sometimes likes to be dramatic and joke around, like slumping on you or not hugging you back completely. If you go to kiss him he might make a sarcastic comment like "ooh cooties" but once he's done laughing it off he'll give you a real kiss.
-When it comes to relationship things, he can be a bit lost though. Mostly from inexperience. He looks at it like goals, and plans effectively. So he always remembers important dates and things you've told him but when it comes to romance then he's a bit lost. Research will be his best friend with that and every once in a while a spontaneous and special date might occur.
-But he really enjoys quality time the most. He's always watching baseball, and when you're there to watch it with him it makes him happy. If you don't know much about it, then he'll take the time to explain the game. He always talks about game calling and everything and it makes him happy if you're listening.
-It's been said he talks a lot when happy, so just expect him to be yapping about anything when he's around you. It can be random like his point of view on things, or a bit deeper like his plans for the future.
-Would like if you have your own hobbies too. He likes being intrigued and interested. So if you have something you're passionate about then he'll watch you and ask you questions about it.
-A good kisser. He puts his all into it. When he's kissing you or doing things for you it's because he wants you to know that he values you. He's not the best with voicing his vulnerabilities and inner emotions, so that's the best way to show you.

“I have to go, but I’ll see you around then? I’ll come and find you when I’m done with my book!”

Chapter 9 - An Excellent Listener
Thank the stars that the Marauder not only managed to exit the atmosphere of Tatooine, but also drift off into hyperspace! Everybody let out a sigh of relief as the stars around them turned into a whirlpool of lights, a sign that you’re finally on your way, with Kamino as your destination.
It’s going to take a few standard hours to reach the terraformed surface of Kamino, so the Batch are up to their usual shenanigans. As for you, you’re sticking to your quarters. That argument with Hunter is still brewing in your mind, and you might as well lock yourself away to prevent your poor Sergeant from being bothered by your hormones.
You’ve spent your time doing some cleaning, rearranging, folding clothes and changing your sheets. A deep clean never hurts, and it can be good for the mind.
But do you know what isn’t good for the mind? Or better yet - who isn’t good for the mind?

“Come in,” you respond without missing a beat.
Tall, slender legs come into your line of sight, seeing as you’re sitting on the floor, rearranging your underbed storage. “Figured you might need this,” Crosshair comments as he enters your dorm, a cup of tea in hand.
“Oh,” you sigh. Crosshair was the last person that you expected to be bringing you a cup of tea. Well, besides Hunter…
Crosshair places the tea on your bedside table, and blankly gestures to your bed. “Sure, you can sit,” you nod.
Once seated, Crosshair rests back on his elbows, really making himself at home. His eyes dart around your room, noticing your decorations, memorabilia and trinkets scattered about. He doesn’t come in here often - if ever - so you can’t blame him for having a browse.
“Comfortable?” you sarcastically comment, seeing as his slender form is somehow taking up half of your bed.
“Not quite,” Crosshair responds. “Need to tuck myself into bed,” he grins, and begins untucking your duvet, earning a slap on the hand.
“I just made that,” you grumble.
“I noticed, fresh sheets and all. How kind of you,” he smirks, finally earning a laugh from you. “Now, stop distracting yourself, and come up here and talk to me,” Crosshair orders, giving the blank space on the bed a gentle pat.
“You want to talk?” your brow raises, yet you find yourself finishing off your organising, pushing the storage container back under your bunk.
Crosshair shrugs. “I figured it’s you who wants to talk, and I’m an excellent listener.”
Rolling your eyes, you sit yourself on your bed, getting as comfortable as you can. Only now does Crosshair’s cologne reach your nose, warm and musky, a comforting scent - but you’ll never admit that to him. Crosshairs shifts upright, now resting against the back of your bunk with his legs crossed. At least he’s not wearing shoes, nor his armour, keeping your bed clean!
You’re silent, so after letting out a sigh, Crosshair starts things off. “Hunter does care about you, you know.”
“Ugh,” you groan, already debating shooing the sniper out of your room.
“He does. That’s why he brought you those supplements. I was with him when it happened. He wouldn’t stop mumbling about your little issue, and figured it wouldn’t do any harm to have that option available.”
“He could have spoken to me about it first,” you shrug.
“How?” Crosshair replies. “We had the option then and there, and it isn’t exactly a conversation to be had over the comm. Might as well buy the supplements, and if you decide not to take them, then that’s your choice.”
“Exactly! I’ve chosen not to take them! Hunter can’t complain about my decision-”
“-But Hunter also has the right to be annoyed.” Crosshair shakes his head. Acting as the mediator was not on his list of things to do today, yet here he is. “When you’re part of a squad, every choice you make has the ability to impact others, including those closest to you. You know what Hunter is like. You’ve seen him suffering from migraines, poor vision, stomach bugs. His enhanced senses come at a cost, just like the rest of us.”
“And what’s your ‘cost,’ hm?” you pry. Sure, you’ve seen Wrecker suffer from his aching muscles, Tech with an inability to switch off his mind, even Echo has had his fair share of suffering, despite not being defective in the Batch’s way.
Crosshair lets out a grunt. “You’ve never seen me wearing my reading glasses.”
“Reading glasses?!” you repeat with a laugh. “I didn’t think that you-”
“-Exactly. I don’t wear them around others,” he waves his hand. “Beside the point, Hunter is going stir-crazy from that scent of yours,” Crosshair boldly points to your crotch, causing you to clash your thighs together.
“So, what you’re saying is that I should start taking them, for Hunter?” you question, seeing as that’s what Crosshair has been hinting at.
“No. It’s too late for that.”
“Well, then what?” you grumble, waving your arms up in frustration.
Crosshair raises his brows, offering you a suggestive expression. “Just kriff him already. Do us all a favour, and kriff him until you’re both satisfied.”
“Crosshair!” You yelp, grabbing a pillow to smack him over the head with.
“That’s Hunter’s name that you should be yelling, not mine!” he smirks, ripping the pillow from your grasp to smack you with, before chucking it across the room. “You need to do us all the favour! Hunter’s been in a sulk ever since you started your strange mating ritual, and the rest of us can’t bare to tolerate him any longer!”
With a huff, you send Crosshair a glare, only for him to mimic it. “I’ll think about it,” you grumble. The thought of sleeping with Hunter has been on your mind, but on your terms - not on Crosshair’s, as strange as that sounds.
“You better,” Crosshair playfully threatens. His arms cross against his chest as he leans back comfortably. “And just think…” he trails off, biting back a chuckle. “…Once you’ve had Hunter, there’s only me left to tick off your list.”
“Oh my stars!” you exclaim, your eyes darting around your room to find something to throw at him in frustration. Your cup of tea? Tempting, but you’d rather drink it. Saying that, you settle on swatting his arm before taking a well-needed drink.
Crosshair laughs. He truly, deeply enjoys winding you up! And it’s your own fault for taking his bait.
“Wait-” you sputter, placing the tea on your bedside table. “How did you find out about the others?”
Crosshair sends you a look, but he doesn’t hold back on the juicy gossip. “Everybody can hear you and Tech kriffling like lothbunnies, you two aren’t exactly quiet. Echo quite openly admitted to it, and Wrecker? Big guy couldn’t keep his mouth shut when it happened.”
Letting out a grumble, you come to realise the situation that you’ve found yourself in. Maybe Hunter was right - maybe you should have started taking those supplements, preventing yourself from sleeping with more than half of your squad.
Then again, you’re having some well-needed fun, and it’s not like your men have any issues with it. If anything, they seem more than happy to help with your biological needs, as well as blowing off some steam. However, you know damn-well that you’ll all need to sit down and talk this through when the time is right.
Maybe once you’ve kriffed the entire squad…?
“Dammit,” is all you mutter as a response. Can you blame them? Wrecker especially? You’re certain that you’d be flexing if you slept with someone such as yourself.
“You poor thing,” Crosshair taunts, playfully sticking out his bottom lip. “But then again, we all saw it coming.”
Darting your eyes to Crosshair, you dare question, “what do you mean?”
The sniper lets out a soft chuckle, his arms crossing against his chest. He shakes his head as he explains, “a pretty girl was assigned to a squad of men. Somebody was bound to sleep with you.”
“You think I’m pretty?” you bat your lashes, which only makes Crosshair roll his eyes. Way to focus on the important points!
“Of course I do,” he scoffs, and you’re almost certain you heard him mumble ‘duh!’ under his breath. “But like I was saying, it was bound to happen, even if we all had a pact against it.”
Mouth hanging open, you question, “a pact? What?!” barely able to hold back on your laughter.
Crosshairs lets out a long, exaggerated sigh. “I’m shooting myself in the foot here,” he curses, digging a ditch that he’s content on not escaping. “When you first joined, Hunter made us swear not to try anything with you. Said it would ruin the dynamic, and all that. I guess that’s why he’s been keeping his distance, alongside the enhanced senses issue.”
“Are you serious?!” you let out a laugh. Now that is a sight you wish you could have seen! Little Sergeant Hunter asking his squad not to get physical with the Jedi. It’s understandable, yet you can’t believe they had that conversation!
“And Tech was the first one to break it,” Crosshair huffs, although there’s a sense of pride in his expression. “Didn’t think he had it in him.”
Raising your hand, you defend poor Tech. “In his defence, I did pounce on him. He seemed rather eager, though!”
“Good man,” Crosshair comments with a nod of his head. If it had been Hunter who went first, Crosshair would have been beyond furious. But Tech? Yeah, Crosshair has his back. His eyes flick between you, and your forgotten drink. “Your tea’s going cold,” he gestures. You willingly take the mug between your hands, enjoying what’s left of your beverage.
Rising to his feet, Crosshair bids farewell. “I’ll leave you to your… organising,” he shrugs, heading for the door.
As the door opens, you call out his name. Crosshair looks back with his usual monotone expression, but a small smile appears on his lips as you reply, “thank you for the talk… and the tea!”
“Like I said, I’m an excellent listener,” he mindlessly shrugs, and leaves you to it, shutting the door behind him.
Now alone, you question if you have any energy left within you to do some more cleaning and organising, not that there’s much left to do. Your dorm is, after all, as small as it can be. Curse the GAR for always picking the cheap route! The time on your clock reads that it’s late, and the surprise yawn that escapes your lips helps you decide that it’s time for bed.
Hopefully, snuggled up within your blankets, you can plan on how to approach Hunter… or avoid him even more…

Part two
It's been months since you got a distress signal from one of your fellow surviving Jedi. Months since you managed to rescue your Jedi friend but sacrifice your own freedom. Months since you've seen your family and your lover.
The last thing you remember from when you were still with the batch was when you were all on Pabu, helping the people restore the beautiful ocean city while you were waiting to get any word from Echo as he helped Rex.
When the only thing missing was Crosshair.
You got the distress signal the same day Echo said he would visit. You knew you couldn't wait for your friend to visit, so with a tight hug, a long and loving kiss and a promise to return safely and quickly, you set the course for your Jedi friend.
Unfortunately, your plan wasn't Vader proof and you ended up captured, switching your place with your friend who managed to escape. You waited for your end, silently apologizing to Hunter and your family, but it never came. Instead, Darth Vader decided you would make a great addition to the imperial inquisitors, so they tried to break you, in every possible way.
For months, they tortured you mentally and physically, leaving you crying and barely alive at the end of every day. But you never broke, no matter what they did to you, you didn't break. There were times when it came close, but thinking of your batch and Hunter gave you strength to fight on.
So when the first opportunity to escape came, you took it. Doing everything in you capacity, even if it meant you'd have to tap into the dark side of the force. Your body had been weakened in the past months, your skin now covered in scars but that didn't stop you and you managed to escape, hijacking an imperial ship and running.
It seemed that even the force was on your side once you coincidentally run into Echo, Rex and the newly forming Clone resistance. But all your happiness disappeared once Echo informed you of the loss they suffered almost immediately you were gone. All those months, just the idea of coming back to your family and how everything would be perfect once again. Everything fell apart and you felt like you were once again in that cold prison cell, waiting for the inquisitors to torture you again. You were falling into the dark abyss, ashamed to even show yourself to Hunter and Wrecker.
It wasn't until Echo came looking for you, four days later. His body radiating happy energy as he practically jumped on you, hugging you and telling you that both Omega and Crosshair managed to escape and were now safely with Hunter and Wrecker on Pabu.
That made you hyperactive, filling you with energy and will to live and both you and Echo were in the ship only few hours later, crossing the galaxy to get back to your family once again.
Three days later you finally made it to Pabu, docking the ship at the top of the city. But while waiting for the ship to touch the ground in a matter of those seconds, your mind betrayed you. Suddenly all you wanted to do was to hide in the corner and dissappear, all those happy thoughts dissappeard, instead being replaced with dark and hateful thoughts. You imagined how Hunter must hate you now that you only returned once everything was alright again. How you dissappeard when they needed you the most. Maybe he's even blaming you for everything bad that happened to his family. Or maybe Omega's the one who hates you now, maybe she thinks that you betrayed them, leaving your family to help someone else.
Your whole body was shaking and you felt like you would faint and when the ramp finally began to descend and the sun shined on your face, Echo had to gently grab you because you swayed like a fragile flower in the wind.
Both you and Echo managed to take a few steps down the ramp before you heard a loud yell. Omega screamed yours and Echo's name, sprinting full speed at you, making you react the same. You yelled her name and she jumped in your arms as you quickly prepared to catch her, hugging her close to you as you began crying, peppering her face with kisses and petting her hair. You managed to crouch with Omega in front of you as you grabbed her cheeks and looked at her more closely, checking for any injuries as she cried telling you how much she missed you.
But as soon as Omegas eyes fell on your face her expression fell as well.
"What happened to your face!" Big tears began rolling down her cheeks as she looked at you. Similar to your body, your face was now littered with both small and big scars, some more visible than the others.
It's been months since you've seen Omega, the young female clone that had unexpectedly entered your life and become like a daughter to you. And after so long, you didn't want your scars to be the first thing you talk about, it was too dark subject to address in the first moments of reunion. So you moved your hands up to her hair, trying to change the subject to something happier.
"Look at your hair! It's grown so much!" You laughed through your tears as you played with the little girl's hair.
"I know, now you can finally braid my hair!" The young girl knew what your were trying to do and played along giggling as she mirrored your hands movements and played with your hair.
You were just about to respond when you both got interrupted by someone whispering your name. Your head snapped behind Omega, falling on a frozen figure, Hunter.
Your body went rigid, completely frozen in time when your eyes meet with his golden ones. Omegas eyes followed yours and once she saw Hunter standing there silently watching, she hugged you one last time before slowly removing herself from you and running towards waiting Echo.
Now that Omega was no longer in front of you, you stood up slowly, your eyes never leaving his as he watched your every move like he couldn't believe you were really there.
Your hands began shaking again and you grabbed your sleeves to try and stop them but to no avail.
"Hunter?"
You whispered back to him, taking a small step towards him. He said nothing, but his body moved and he was by you in the next second, his hands enveloping your body as his own crashed against yours. He squeezed you almost as hard as he could, fearing that if he wouldn't, you would've disappeared again. Hunter buried his face in your neck, inhaling your scent as your hands slowly stopped shaking and you moved them up into his hair. Your forehead fell on his shoulder as you finally closed your eyes, taking in his warm presence. You both stood there for a long minute, not moving as you both tried to soak in each other's warmth.
You felt Hunter deeply inhale once again, his breath tickling your neck, before his lips pressed against the same spot and he kissed you. Repeating the movement kissing up your neck, slowly coming to your face as his hands moved up to your neck, and his thumbs landed on your cheeks as his eyes found yours again. Hunter breathed out your name again, his face so close to yours.
"I thought I lost you..." His normally smoky voice sounded broken, quiet, like he was worried he would scare you away if he'd talk any louder. His own hands began to shake slightly as he gently turned your face around, his eyes jumping from scar to scar.
"Hunter, I'm so sorry. I tried to get back to you, I really did but they-" You tried explaining yourself as his eyes found yours again.
"When your ship returned I thought to myself at least I got one of my girls back...but then only General Prima came out and she could barely look me in the eyes to tell me what happened..." Hunter let out a sigh as his thumb traced the scar across your lips.
"...I thought I lost you and I couldn't bare to even think of what they're doing to you...I tried get you back every day, you and Omega..." He went on slowly and quietly, his other thumb tracing the scar across your eye.
"I'm so sorry Hunter-" You tried to apologise again but he interrupted you again with his thumb on your lips.
"Just...just promise me to never leave me again...I...I can't live without you." Hunter whispered as one tear left his eye and you moved your hand to his cheek, brushing it away as he leaned into your touch.
"I promise Hunter, never again." You nodded your head as you promised him, your own tears escaping you again and you moved your head, leaning your forehead against his.
Hunter let out a gentle puff of air, making your lips tingle as the air hit them. His own lips ghosting over yours as he whispered. "Ni kar'tayli gar darasuum ner ka'ra."
A small smile appeared on your lips and you gently nodded. "Ni kar'tayli gar darasuum ner ashi dul."
You responded and finally moved, pressing your lips against his into a long and loving kiss.
Hunter's hands moved back down to your waist and he pulled you closer again as his kiss turned more desperate.
Your own hands moved around his neck as you pulled yourself impossibly closer, a small sound escaping you as Hunters hand squeezed your hip and he took the chance to deepen the kiss. His tongue prodded against your lips as he entered your mouth in almost like urgent matter.
You let him take the reins and followed his tempo, enjoying the feeling of his arms around you again.
"Okay, you can continue doing that later! Now it's my turn!" You heard Wrecker before another set of arms snaked around you and Hunter, squeezing you even further and lifting you in the air. Both you and Hunter gasped, breaking the kiss to look at the gentle giant as he hugged you, leaning his head on your shoulders. You chuckled, grinning and squeezing one arm out and moving it to gently pat Wreckers head. "I missed you too Wrecker." Even Hunter managed a chuckle as he heard his brother sniffle quietly.
"We're never splitting ever again." Wrecker decided as he slowly put them down and brushed the tears from his eyes away. "Agreed." You nod, grabbing the giant clone's hand and squeezing it.
"What, no hug for me?" Crosshair's sly snake like voice asked as he came closer and crossed his arms in front of his chest an amused frown on his face. Your head turned in his direction and a wide smile grew on your lips and you gently let go of Wrecker and moved around Hunter, letting your hands to drag across his chest as you stepped closer to his youngest brother. "Crosshair!" You grinned and quickly moved closer to him, enveloping him into a big hug. Your movement surprised him greatly as he was expecting a glare and a witty remark instead you hugged him.
His arms were awkwardly waiting at his sides, debating if he should hug you back or push you away. Alas, you were the only one that hugged him so far and he'd be lying to himself if he'd say he didn't need a hug. So he let his arms slowly sneak around your body and he hugged you back, silently laying his head on top of yours.
"I'm glad you're back with us again." You whispered just loud enough for him to hear and you felt his breath hitch.
He slowly let go of you and stepped back a little, watching the scars across your face.
"Come on, you have to meet Batcher!" Omega gasped, grabbing your hand out of nowhere and pulling you towards what looked to be a excited Lurca hound, running around and chasing Moon-yos. You chuckled at the enthusiasm of the little girl and looked back behind you to your lover and the rest of your family, only to see Hunter slightly glaring at Crosshair and Echo rolling his eyes and pushing the former Sergeant, encouraging him to move, while Wrecker only laughed and followed closely.
Omega managed to introduce you to the lively hound, telling you how she helped her and how they bonded over the time as they managed to survive the empire. Batcher seemed to be the perfect energetic pet for Omega as they began playing together, almost forgetting everyone else that was watching them.
You felt a warm hand on the small of your back and a moment later a warm body pressed against your side as Hunter lowered his head to whisper in your ear. "Come on, you must be starving." He pressed a delicate kiss to your forehead as you turned your head to look at him. "A little, yeah." You confirmed and Hunter motioned with his head to his brothers, before gently pushing you towards the house reserved for the batch.
Hunter whistled, making Omegas and Batchers heads turn, motioning them to follow too.
The shining sun had slowly began to descend as they sat down around the table after they put on some food. They snacked on the delicious fruits, talking about everything, just like they did in the old days, while they watched Omega and Batcher play.
The moment felt perfect, besides the one empty chair, remaining everyone that they will never be complete again. Everything else felt normal, Crosshair's witty remarks, Wrecker's compliments to the food, Echo trying to talk about another one of his missions and Hunter silently trying to listen to everyone as his hand slowly fell on your thigh, giving it a gentle squeeze to reassure you and himself that this moment is in fact real.

25 Days of Life Day: Day 9 - Life Day Pranks with Delta Squad
Summary: You and Scorch play a prank on Boss, it doesn't go well.

A/N: I KNOW this is SO late lol. BUT the urge to do a part two eventually is SO strong. Anyway, it's still the holiday season at least, and I'm going to take the course of the winter to do these so maybe it'll help with my seasonal depression? Idk anywayyyy here we go.
You and Scorch have spent all day wrapping the ship as a little prank just for Boss. Sev had said if you pranked him, him being Sev, he’d kill you. But he had slightly smiled when he said it, so you knew he wasn’t serious. You’re Sev’s only soft spot. But Boss… Boss is a hardass. You’ve never even seen the man smile.
“A little higher.” You call up to Scorch as he hovers over the ship with his jetpack.
“Got it, cyar’ika.” Scorch calls back down to you as he flies up a bit higher and tapes the final piece of wrapping paper over the top.
It was perhaps the greatest prank any squad has ever come up with. And you’ve seen the goofy pranks of the 501st. They’re pretty good… but this? Classic.
“Boss is gonna kill you, you know.” Sev’s deep voice purrs to you as Scorch lands.
You and Scorch glance at each other with a grin and both say, “Worth it.”
Sev just shakes his head and joins Fixer on the crates. You and Scorch attempt to find something else to keep you busy until Boss comes back from whatever he’s doing.
An hour later, Boss comes walking into the hangar, his helmet in one hand and looking down at the datapad in the other. And he nearly drops both when he looks up at the ship.
“HAPPY LIFE DAY, BOSS!” You grin.
“Take it down. Now.” Boss stares at you.
Your grin falters slightly and Sev notices. Nonetheless, you try to keep your cool.
“Oh, come on Sarge. It’s-” Scorch starts but Boss silences him with a glare.
“Defacing GAR property is your idea of a prank?” He stares down at you, angrily.
“I think if it’s able to be taken down, it doesn’t count as defacing, right?” You start, crossing your arms.
Honestly, he’s taking it worse than you expected, which is almost a little embarrassing. You’d expected him to just roll his eyes and shake his head. Dammit… Sev is going to give you such a hard time.
“Maybe if you spent as much time working on your medical skills as you do these silly pranks with Scorch, you’d-” Boss starts to fire off but Sev steps in between the two of you, backing his brother up.
“Go get something to eat, Boss. We’ll clean this up.” Sev mumbles and you look at him, wide-eyed.
You’ve never been yelled at by Boss before. In fact, this broodiness seems a little out of character even for him.
But still, you can’t help that your feelings are hurt. And you definitely can’t help the lump in your throat or the slight tremble of your bottom lip. You don’t notice the hard stare that Sev is giving the sergeant as you go and start to pull the wrap down off the ship. And you also don’t notice the disapproving shake of Fixer’s head as Boss walks past him.
See, what you don’t realize is all of these Delta lads really care for you in their own way. Especially Sev, who more than cares about you, but doesn’t know how to tell you.
“Lemme help, cyar’ika...” Sev murmurs as he ignites his jetpack and flies up to the top of the ship, ripping the wrapping paper down until it all falls over you, making you laugh.
He smiles down at you, bright teeth and all. Something you don’t see often. But he loves the sound of your laugh. They all do.
Fixer and Scorch come and scoop all of the paper and toss it into a bin across the hangar.
“Don’t let Boss’ grumpy ass get you down.” Sev tells you.
“You’re one to talk.” Scorch teases as he walks by.
Sev’s middle finger goes up, making Scorch crack up. You laugh with him, but then realize that you’ve seen Boss this grumpy before. When Vau chewed him out really bad and made him feel lesser than.
“Oh…” You murmur. “I’ll catch you guys at dinner. I gotta go do something.”
“Alright.” Sev nods, watching you walk briskly toward the barracks.
When you reach your barracks, the doors slide open and you find Boss standing over the desk by the window overlooking the Kaminoan Sea. He’s looking down at his data pad, but slightly lifts his head when the doors open, barely acknowledging you.
“Are you okay?” You approach him, slowly.
He grunts out a ‘yeah’ and you know you should leave it at that, that you shouldn’t meddle. He’s never been forthcoming with his emotions before, why would he now?
“Whatever Vau said to you today… doesn’t define you, Boss… You’re… a really great leader. I wouldn’t rather follow anyone else.” You look down at your feet. “I know he’s unnecessarily hard on you. But you’re better than him.”
“You don’t know what you’re talking about.” He murmurs.
When you look up, he’s turned around looking down at you. You go warm under his stare, probably from embarrassment from earlier.
You shrug, standing your ground, though. “What I said is still true.”
His eyebrows go up ever so slightly. You’ve made it weird, you realize that now.
“Anyway… I just… wanted to tell you that.” You murmur and start to turn to leave.
“I’m… sorry about earlier.” He tells you, making you pause to look at him again.
He’s looking at you with a softness, an almost sheepishness.
“Thanks.” You smile, softly.
He nods. “You’re a great medic… Wouldn’t rather have anyone else stitch me up.”
Your chest tightens at his kind words. Two times today he’s been uncharacteristic.
“Let’s eat.” You nod to the door.
He looks back at his holopad.
“Doctor’s orders.” You smile, making his chest tighten.
“Sure thing, Doc.” He smiles slightly for the first time since you’ve known him and you feel like it could be a Life Day miracle.

always says i love you verbally ! he feels bad he can’t offer words of affirmation directly to you so he spent a lot of time finding safe words he can say. you do have to gamble whenever he sends a voice message though… will it be a cute i love you or will it be him trying to get you to come back to him ? either way it’s <3
literally no one knew you guys were together for a while because you both were naturally close (and he’s really good at hiding it if he wants to) but after you told everyone? prepare to be sick of him
clingy in a cute way so you guys spend almost all your free time together (even if it’s just sitting in the same room)
if you ever fight, he will apologize until his throat bleeds. he won’t use any commands unless you try to dismiss your feelings and he’ll go “please tell me how you really feel” because he wants you to be genuinely okay

has told you to “run away” during a battle with curses and has never done so again because you wore headphones around him and would not speak to him unless it was text (he wanted to protect you but he knows you want to protect him as well)
gets kinda jealous but will have no shame and be affectionate in front of that person while looking at them directly in the eyes. 100% denies being jealous though
