he’s been drinking . and when tommy drinks , things get bad . not that things are ever exactly good between amandine and her long term on - and - off boyfriend , but usually things aren’t quite so ..... obvious . usually he doesn’t aim for the face . right now ? her nose isn’t broken but it’s been pouring blood , her eye is black and her lip is busted . good luck selling sex when she looks like a fucking poster child for domestic violence . she cracked a glass ashtray over his head and spat in his face sometime during the argument , too . situations like these can make you crazy . do stupid things to try to keep some dignity , act like you have control over the situation . they both know that she has none .
the knock at the door makes her stomach drop . nypd , the other side says , please open up . so she does . and she shuts her fucking mouth . tends to her nose and lip . gives cops one word answers and tells them to butt the fuck out of their business . they know what’s happening . feels like everyone does . once the cops leave , tommy’s so pissed he locks her and rocky out of the apartment . technically , it’s amandine’s apartment , but she’s tired and dizzy from bleeding , and doesn’t have the energy to make a scene about it .
it’s late , and the courtyard is empty . there are no stars . just a moon half - hidden behind clouds . the blonde takes a seat in the grass , slender arms wrapped around her whimpering and confused dog , and desperately tries to get her tears under control .
‘ you’ve got to be fuckin kidding me . ’ rocky’s black leash has caught around her ankles , a dangerous game when her heels are never below five inches . he’s all excited because he sees his little boyfriend , a beautiful dog with an owner amandine has grown to resent . ‘ of course it’s you . rocky never misbehaved before meeting you two . ’ @nickandersx
Cursing under her breath as she tries to squeeze her way in between all the tourists trying to take pictures and therefore blocking the street, Raleigh finds a smile growing on her face as she notices the dog heading for her. Forgetting about her frustration she kneels down to pet the dog happily. “ Oh it’s cool, he’s the friendliest face I’ve seen all day. Who’d have thought that New York would have so many cranky people, right? ”
‘ well , it is the base of practically every new york stereotype , ’ amandine muses . though she’s trying to be nice , she knows she can be terribly abrasive and it’s not a good look on anyone . ‘ you’re not from around here , then ? welcome to new york . try not to get chewed up and spat out . ’
Anthony Lombardo is one-hundred percent a cat person. So, when seeing a fur ball of the dog persuasion barrelling in his direction he automatically moves to avoid it. His face grimaces at it and he crosses his arms as his gaze moves to the blonde. “Maybe learn to control your beast.”
it was irresponsible of her to let rocky out of her grasp , and she knows it . maybe that’s why it makes her so immediately , intensely annoyed to be called out on it . ‘ hey , fuck you . my dog is better trained than half the fuckin humans in this city . ’
nico may have appeared to have a very tough skin, but if there was anything she was soft for, it was dogs. they were just too pure for this earth. especially ones like the one who went running up to her as it had known her all of his life. “oh my goodness, hello sweet boy!” she smiled gently, watching him as he ran back to the pretty blonde with a soft wave. “no worries, he’s too cute.” maybe once she stopped living above the bar she’d get a pup of her own, sometimes it was lonely coming home to an empty apartment. “oh goodness, he’s gonna have a great time.”
' meet my ferocious guard dog . ’ amandine rubs her temples , trying for exasperated but only appearing immensely fond . rocky thrives with the attention , rocketing between his mom and his new friend before flopping over in the middle of them to beg for belly rubs . ‘ he always does . i don’t know where this energy comes from , i walk him twice a day . ’
Chester lets out a light laugh at the excitable dog. He has to admit, he was neither a dog nor a cat person but a certain someone was making lean towards the former. “It’s fine, this guy I’m seeing has a dog just as hyper, guess I gotta get use to it.” He shakes his head fondly kneeling down and scratching the dog behind the ear. “Listen to your mom, kid.” He stands back up and shoves his hands in his jean pockets. “So Rocky… Like the boxer or the dessert?”
‘ you’d better . if it comes down to a man or a dog , the dog’ll win every time , pal . ’ she’s teasing , mostly , a grin parting pink lips . rocky jumps excitedly when the other gets down to his level , sloppily trying to lick his face . ‘ couche ! assis . ’ the pit takes a seat , though he inches closer and closer to his new friend , begging for attention . ‘ oh . as in balboa . cause he’s tough as nails , just like the boxer . clearly . ’
“Oh! Don’t apologize, he’s just a big ball of happiness - aren’t you buddy?” Nick crouched down in front of the blonde, his hand reaching out for the dog to smell. “The one thing you never have to apologize to me is a dog wanting attention.” His voice dropped into a softer tone, acting as if he was talking to a child instead of the dog by her side “nothing wrong with a little play time isn’t there? Oh you’re a good boy aren’t you? Such a good boy.” He rubbed at the pets sides.
‘ he’s a sweet thing , that’s for sure . ’ probably the only creature on this earth that never fails to make amandine smile . it’s nice seeing others be so kind to rocky , the terrible stigma about pit bulls is so false , but persistent . rocky gives slobbery kisses all over the man’s hands , and he flops onto his back to beg for belly rubs . ‘ there’s not enough attention in the world for this guy , i swear . ’ she’s nothing but fond as she smiles down at her dog and the stranger .
there’s a pit bull with it’s own leash in its mouth barreling towards the other , but he just wants to play . his tail wags so hard his whole back half is wiggling . and there trails his owner after him , looking harried as she calls after him , heels clicking on the pavement . ‘ rocky ! au pied ! ’ he bounds back to amandine , looking extremely proud of himself even as she has to tug - of - war for his leash back . ‘ sorry . we’re on the way to the dog park and he’s ready to play . ’
the other day I saw (AMANDINE DEVEREAUX), a (26) (STRIPPER) around New York City. They look a lot like (MARGOT ROBBIE), don’t they?! Rumor has it that they’re (OUTGOING, PASSIONATE AND STRONG) but can be (BRASH, FIESTY, AND HARDHEADED) at their worst! What we know for sure is that they’re (FEMALE, BISEXUAL), their pronouns are (SHE) they wereborn on (APRIL 7TH), live in (BROOKLYN) and are known as (THE FIREBALL).
amandine is brooklyn born & raised ! she has a heavy brooklyn accent because of it.
currently she works as a stripper and lives in a smallish apartment with her pit bull, Rocky.
she is the older of a set of identical twins. (for those of you that knew my character clarissa, clari was actually based off of amandine’s twin.) both her parents are french immigrants, and french is her first language. they spent summers in paris and nice while growing up.
she has severe dyslexia but it is undiagnosed. she dropped out of high school at 16, and still hasn’t gotten her GED.
growing up, amandine was an amazing ballerina. at nineteen, she was set to be the prima ballerina in a prestigious dance troupe when one of her team members became upset with her. the other girl accused her of sleeping with the instructor and beat her up, breaking a few ribs and rendering her incapable of auditioning. her life has been in a downward spiral ever since.
after healing, she stopped ballet. instead, she worked for a while as a waitress but was too rude to customers and got fired. so she ended up stripping, instead.
eventually she started dating the owner of the strip club, a man named nicolas. she is still dating him, although he is physically and emotionally abusive.
she is messy as hell but i love her so much ldskfjskd
