Hear me out but this just might be the least steamy and slow burn book Tessa has written(that I’ve read) and I’m here for it. The longing, want and angst in this book was good. I just wanted these 2 adults to be together but they couldn’t because their parents were together and getting married which would make them step siblings. Let me just say that they met each other before their parents got together I didn’t see the problem with them double dating with the parents lol.
The mmc Sig is down bad obsessed with Chloe like he did everything for her. In the beginning i felt like he liked her more but as the book went on I saw how much both did. The steamy scenes weren’t that much but it was full of ‘we’re doing this, we shouldn’t be but we can’t help it vibes’. The romance was cute but i wanted to see more domestic bliss moments when they finally could be together.
