LORN - ANVIL by Geriko
The year 2100. In an effort to combat overpopulation, the postmortem social network “Anvil” is released.
A fusion of both Japanese and Belgian comics inspirations and sensibilities, such as Ghost in the Shell, Akira or Peeters & Schuiten’s work. “Anvil” invites us on a journey through the eyes of a young woman in her final moments on earth.
Lorn - Anvil Label: Wednesday Sound Directed by Hélène Jeudy & Antoine Caëcke (aka Geriko) Design, Script & Animation by Antoine Caëcke & Hélène Jeudy Character Animation by Anthony Lejeune & Manddy Wyckens

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I love Black people .
Do not try to become anything. Do not make yourself into anything. Do not be a meditator. Do not become enlightened. When you sit, let it be. What you walk, let it be. Grasp at nothing. Resist nothing. If you haven’t wept deeply, you haven’t begun to meditate.

@harnaamkaur and I are tired of your shitty gender roles. We shot this series for @theparallelmag to challenge what people are “allowed to do.” She has a beard due to a medical condition. She loves it and kills it! As for me, I just want to wear a skirt sometimes cuz I think it can look dope! The fact we socially relegate these fashion and styling attributes to certain genders just seems so frivolous and dangerous when you consider how aggressive people get when their confronted with these things that don’t fit into their understanding of how the world works. At the end of the day, just be yourself and love yourself and don’t judge others who are living that way. Think outside the parameters that we are lead to believe are absolute and see the world as it is! Much love to all of you! 📷: @sophieephotos 💄: @kateoffthewall 👔: @roxannechanelmurray

Literally my favorite vine
I’ve passed over the chance to reblog this Vine enough times that I finally have to bite the bullet.
Six shots in six seconds. WEED CARD. Cop with beard and “COP” on shirt giving flute solo. Camera twisting left/right.
Did anyone anticipate this, back when moving pictures were invented?
The only thing funnier than this Vine is trying to think about how hard it would be to explain this six seconds of footage to someone from 1895
“man in private carriage is caught with contraband, presents legal registration allowing him to carry controlled substance. Officer of the law is bested and responds to the discourse with dancing and flute music”
I’m gonna say this… There’s a sense of cinematography here that some filmmakers never get a handle on.
And that’s amazing.
I think what might be hard to explain to someone in 1895 is that cannabis is illegal now.
White person from 1895: Is that a colored person in that film? Black person from 1895: What’s film?
