the last week of visiting my family is challenging. i start missing them before i’ve even packed my bag and washed my bedding. i’m trying to live in the moment but it creeps up when i’m left in silence too long. thankfully i have plans to tide me over and things i want to do before i leave. i’m also lucky that i have my man and my baby (cat) to look forward to. that softens the blow. oh and the rest of my wardrobe. i always feel like rory gilmore in that ep when she comes back from europe before she goes to yale.
