Yes, we were going to. We decided a week ago that we weren’t going to go, no matter how things would develop.

Initially, I was pretty bummed just because of the sheer insanity of the situation and the sudden change of plans, but it’s for the best. It would just be plain out wrong to race there right now.

With how the season’s playing out so far, I am not bummed in terms of racing. What does leave a bitter taste is that I won’t meet a fandom friend who we were planning the trip with. I’m positive though that we’ll meet some time in the future ♥️

The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.

Genuine curiosity - I would love to see the second account. I am just wondering why you would post on different accounts. Is the other one a self insert account or something like that? (No judgement if it is, I am just genuinely curious about it)

I initially created the other account to post “darker” and morally questionable fics there because that’s not the usual jam of my account.

I was a bit afraid of the backlash or possible hate for writing such things and felt more comfortable not publishing those fics on main.

Technically I could have done that by publishing on anon, but I wanted to store them all in one place and tied to a name so that people that liked one fic could find the others too and knew they were written by the same person. Plus I have a history of being discovered when publishing on anon 😂
