📷Can you believe that I've got two Hasselblad cameras in my hands worth more than $60k... My parents always said to me : "Don't buy stuff you can't afford. If you don't have the money. Don't buy it. No credit card. No debt, no worries. Ten years ago my dream came true, to buy a Hasselblad camera. I learned how to take photographs with what I had. It could be with a Polaroïd, a 35mm, a SLR, a 6x6 or even with a smartphone. I'm definitely convinced that the camera won't give you amazing images but rather your ideas and your vision. If you're a tacky photographer, even with a $60k camera yours photos will be still average. I know some amazing amateur photographers who do some greats photos with simple stuff. So my advice is don't take shortcuts, don't buy gear which loses value with credit cards if you can't buy it. Invest in yourself, practice every day, find your style and your own vision. Don't be tempted to impress people. You don't need to be broke to get more jobs. You rather need to produce a good product that everyone wants. Then clients and people will require your services and pay the price to work with you. It's simple. Don't cheat on yourself, don't try to take shortcuts. If you're good, you should be able to make some amazing photos even with a $20 camera. No bla bla bullshit that you need an expensive camera for more jobs. You need more skills first before to pretend to be who you want to be. 😘Love you guys📷
