It’s compulsion that beckons the nudge of the taller warrior, elbow bopping into bicep with an impish glee. Maybe her improvement hadn’t been steadfast but at least she didn’t fall face first into the mud for once -- that’s technically progress if anyone had to count it. Her grin lessens at silence and perked brows, eyes searching for the faintest hint of a grin across elegant features. The bard huffs, fingers working into the raw, uncovered wood of her staff, “ -- c’mon Xena, I could have had you at that last move back there. ”
