A lot of people scoff at Texas for shutting down when we don’t have however many feet of snow, but you have to understand that we got a ton of precipitation Thursday night after the temperature absolutely plummeted Wednesday evening. Everything’s basically encased in several inches of solid ice (not snow) and I think today is the first time it’s supposed to get anywhere close to above freezing again (though it’s supposed to refreeze tonight). Most major highways have been closed because of inaccessibility and accidents. Basically, most of north Texas has been shut in their homes since Thursday (unless of course you got trapped in your car when they shut down I35 N).

Hey y'all, sorry I've been MIA for the last little bit, basically there's a bent pin in the input for my laptop's powercord, so no charge for my battery, no high speed.
