NEW BLORBO ALERT!
Franz Strudel is a silly gunnery instructor from Nuln. As part of a deal with the neighboring elector counts, Nuln sends some representatives to inspect the armories in some of the largest cities of the empire to help update their arsenal. He's a bit of a pompous windbag who thinks way too highly of himself despite having barely more training than that of the average soldier. He takes his job a little too seriously and is a bit overeager in sharing the intricacies of maintaining a standard issue handgun. In spite of his immense ego, he does try to raise his allies up, he often leads by example and is more than eager to show foes his "Tam Beeg Rifle Gun's" many features.
I wanna try out KillTeam soon (and even possibly start collecting a funny lil guard army) so i decided to write out a short lil backstory for these goobers so that i have something to work with :)
given that Kill Team is more "your goobers" focused than warhammie proper, i figured id have more motivation to play with them and actually try to get better if i was emotionally attached to them.
Here's a WIP i managed to finish on my own :)) a redesign of a VERY old character i used for DND, a war-forged artificer in a campaign based on Age of Sigmar :3
(keeping in mind the old design looked NOTHING like this, and i havent played in this campaign in like 5-6 years) i made some new lore for them! due to the weird warpy-ness surrounding the Mortal Realms its possible "advanced" equipment from other realms would suddenly appear and perhaps be salvaged by a particularly inventive grot. So when a power claw is retrieved for its incredible WAAGH! energy, it immediately awakens an idol of GorkkaMorkka and the silly lil grot is suddenly in possession of an incredibly powerful companion.
Update on my Skaven Marine WIP, i finished it! yeah it turns out just not having a shit ton of details actually makes it easier to finish a project when you have like adhd or something- who knew! anyways, i aint goin back on what i said earlier, feel free to steal this guy and use him for whatever funny things you can imagine him doing!!
my most recent artwork, which i posted to bluesky significantly earlier- theres an amazing little parody game based on early 40k called Scrungaloids! so i wanted to make a few OCs before i went and tried it out i absolutely love the overly-greebled goobers, i wanna punt them into the stratosphere :) my goal is to make a bunch of little Alpha Scrungles based on childish pranks, fart bombs, spray cans, whoopie cushions, etc
finished sketch for a one off joke about Behind the Bastards host, Robert Evans bieng a Digganob (average Machete-cine practitioner) thats all i liked it
im NOT washed- i CAN make somewhat detailed drawings.... its just that im a lazy pos.. aa. i like this one, heres another lil demon. this one i remember wanting to be like... the epitome of two-facedness? in like... a comical way tho, someone who is obviously a piece of paper fluttering in the wind and has no actual beliefs past "yeah, now that you mention it..." i liked drawing the goopy monster form :)
okay, wip-posting over, have this fuckin sugar filled goober. i wanna squish it, it's too round uhhhh idk, i dont have an excuse for this one, i just wanted to draw a cute little demon, i guess? idk my silly ass making ocs and then not writing anything about them down and then immediately forgetting everything about them.

i actually like this one, im kinda sad i wasnt able to do anything with it. the idea was to add some background to the Priestess- i for one amb a YURI addict so of course i made a tragic gf for her. uhhhhh the idea was basically that she would prick and prod and tease Elise for bieng a pacifist, but also was kind of a stalwart role model who taught her self defence with the halberd. yknow, just in case. eventually, she would go off and fight a nurgle infected beast and catch a deadly pox. Elise would try to save her but nah. eventually magic godess shenanigans would happen and her spirit would become the little dove companion- mmmm... doomed yuri idk whats up with her face, it came out way more disney princess than grizzled knight idkk

for fuckin once, i tried to cut down on the detail before i just gave up on the idea. tbh it wasnt super well thought out, i just had a really cool mental image and yeah once i found something else i just bailed on it. its supposed to be like a skiitari/admech sort of girlie but like... cyberpunky? the idea is that she scavenged all the parts so theyre clunky and blocky and slowly driving her mad. looks cool, my attention span just wasnt built for it
it was also about this character when i began to realize my go to hairstyle is short tousled red head.. :(

this one is unique in that its not actually all that incomplete- its just that the game i was gonna use him for fell through so i just never used him- not even a character sheet rooled up, poor thang.
in dnd terms, hes basically a dwarven ranger - in wfrp terms, hes a dwarf coachman, lives in the empire and makes his coin protecting carts that are going through the Reikwald. holds a grudge against any beastman as they slaughtered his previous coworkers. he copes with alcohol. he is loudmouthed and brash, yearns for friendship but doesnt want to feel the loss and grief that comes with it. hopefully someone can adopt this poor fellow, and probably finish up this drawing i cruelly left almost done.

another level of detail flop, but this time i might actually try to remake it at some point in the future? maybe? probably not as fucking detailed tho? anyways, skaven marines are pretty goated and i enjoy making warpstone crystal spikes.

you can probably guess why i lost steam on this one. i wanted to draw a chaos-captured baneblade. level of detail here was probably just a bit too ambitious. anyways, i like the turret, and the eye coming out of the floodlight is suck a goated idea tbh. it even comes with a traitor captain sho i guess just kinda sits there in the bowels of the demon engine? idk didnt really think it through
