Everytime I try to look back into how to roll my r's or whistle it just makes no sense to me, like you might as well be talking in a completely different language type makes no sense and it's just frustrating.

I don't know what it is but every video and diagram and person trying to personally explain it to me make no sense and it sucks. It feels like there's something inherrently broken about me cause why can't I understand any of it why can't I get what they're saying?? It'd be one thing if it was just like one or two examples but it's everything, none of it makes sense regardless of how I try to get it to.

Makes me question what's wrong with me like why don't I get it? Is it the neurological stuff, do I make sounds wrong? Is there something about how I blow out air that's not right? Is the speech impediment I had when I was younger [would pronounce r's like w's, it still does slip out every now and then] still fucking me up to this day.

What sucks in particular is that I CAN do the Rd sound

[ kinda hard to explain it but like I guess a good example is my name, The real pronounciation for it is sorta like Gah-b-R[d]Eye-H-ael if that makes sense, I just do the basic as gabe-real pronounciation when I'm lazy and it feels mean to push it so I don't bother. I know I should given it is my name but I can be a pushover like that]

and like that has to be a similar thing right??? At least It feels like it should be, so why can't I figure it out??

I'd say my favorite area would have to be the Hallow biome [and the Hallow caves in particular] I just really enjoy the music, enemies, and general vibe in there. The additions of Queen slime and EoL also give it a major leg up, though the mushroom caves would be a solid second.

While technically not a biome persay the floating islands could be a strong contender for a favorite if they just had a bit more to them. I always loved the floating islands, I'd imediately go hunting for all them in a world when I was little. but the lack of variations and the only enemies really there being harpies and wyverns for the most part always left a bit to be desired. Psure there's mods that expand on it but cause our only computers the family one and like- about the same age as me if not a year or two older it's not really able to handle much anymore. Definately something to check out in the future though

I've had so much more joy and whimsy since I stopped forcing myself to look at stuff I didn't like or care for anymore, like if you just dislike everything new coming from something just leave, stop looking at the tags, if you like your own stuff just seperate it make those guys yours now, it feels weird at first but like, once you find a new thing to latch onto things are so much happier.
