the name is amelia harper, i am a senior at mckinley high school, in lima, ohio. i never wanted to be part of this school at first, actually i would have preferred to stay at my old school. now i am glad to be at this school with my girl quinn fabray and other friends from the new directions. my little brother jake, well he's a year younger then me, is my best friend too and i will do my best to protect him. my older brother jesse can be an ass at times but yet i still love him. being at home with the harpers can be crazy but i love it either way. great life if i am honest. just don't mention my mom and we'll be fine.

The Day before an Audition || F2F - Finn and Amelia

Finn was always proud to see how far his girlfriend had come the past few years, she was definitely growing as a person and he loved her even more for that. He sighed looking over at her for a moment before laughing a little for a moment, “We’ll see what we can do for you my princess.” He smiled kissing her softly before getting back on with the job as she spoke and he ran a hand through his hair dor a moment and shock his head, “Amelia, I know you want me to audition but the thing is I need to focus on Glee club and football if I want a scholarship.” He looked at her for a moment, “Well who are you auditioning for? I mean I know Rachel is amazing and there is a high chance she will get the role but you could always try out for Maria. Oh but that might cause drama. Maybe not.” He stated for a moment, “Either way i will be there watching ever performance and supporting you beautiful, whatever role you get.” 

Amelia stood there in the garage, she had been feeling happier by the day when she is with Finn because he really sees her and sees who she is which is more then anyone has in her life. She laughed a little as he kissed her softly and she smiled, and nodded, “I understand Finn, i just don’t want you to miss out on opportunties, after all high school is nearly over.” She sighed and nodded, “I think I am just going for an ensemble part because it would be better then competing against Rachel, especially since we are only just on talking terms now.” She smiled looking over at him as she took his hand, “Well if you are sure. And I will some how be supporting your football scholarship as well, I am sure you’re going to get somewhere, you’re the best quaterback Mckinley has had. I am always going to be proud of you.”

Finn was at the shop, he had been working for Burt for a while now, to earn extra cash and to keep busy after school. He had invited Amelia to the shop after school that day so they could get some time together too, he loved being around her, things felt good with her and although they were dating, they were taking things slow and hadn’t gone all the way just yet because they both wanted to make it work and he was honestly happy to be patient and wait. As he was trying to fix the car he looked over at the girl and laughed a little, “Well if i look hot, I guess I will have to get extra dirty in order to stay hot.” He laughed planting a little kiss on her cheek for a moment and sighed, “I knew you were going to bring that up. Look Amelia, I am not the kind of person who just goes up and does a musical. And also i have football trials coming up and I need to get a scholarship that I need to focus on that right now.” He said looking over at her for a moment, “I will be there every show though watching and supporting you.”

Amelia was a person who had come far, before htis year she was a bitch to everyone but Quinn, Kurt and Finn but since she started dating Finn her way to look at how her life a different way and she was happy about it. The new directiosn meant more to her now and actually preparing for her future meant a lot but her future with Finn was everything she could dream of and she wanted him there in her future and also wanted him to go do something for his future. She winked at him for a moment, “Well maybe you would.” she stated as she pulled him in for more of a kiss on his lips and then looked back at him, “But your voice is amazing and you would be so good in west side story.” She smiled, “Well I mean I am not going to be getting a big part, lets face it Rachel will  get Maria and Santana is right for Anita. But okay. And you are going to smash the Football trials.” She stated looking at him for a moment.

Amelia had her audition for west side story the next day, she was auditioning for Anita but because Santana was going up for the same role, she knew she wouldn’t get it, but going up for the role is something she wanted to try. She knew if not she’d be in ensemble which would be fine. She was nervous and practicing so much, but at the same time she was wanting to relax that she was at Finns place, well the garage and he was clearly not thinking of doing the musical but she felt like he wasn’t giving himself a chance to show off his talents. She sat there looking at him, “Finn. You spend too much time getting dirty at with a car.” She laughed a little, “But you look hot tryign to fix a car.” She smiled laughing, “So tell me, why aren’t you going up for the musical?”

Finn kept a hold of her hand and smiled alongside, Finn was never a person to not be happy over most things, he had been through a lot but Amelia since the day she had met him, she was always there and he never understood how he could do so. He smiled and laughed a little and nodded, “A very good point made there miss Harper.” He smiled and nodded, “Sounds like a perfect afternoon.”

Amelia knew she was going to have the best Senior year since it had already started out great. She smiled looking at him for a moment, “Thank you, thank you for making the start of this year amazing.” She smiled running a hand through her hair for a moment and nodded, “It really will be.” She smiled as she bit her lip and they made it to her place.

Finn was over the moon and felt like the luckiest guy in the world right now and he was hoping nothing would ruin that for him. He knew he had to make sure to prove to the girl that there was some decent guys out there for her. He laughed a little, “Well maybe I was but we got you back now didn’t we?” He stated looking over at her. “Well that determination will definitely help. That is true, we need to make the most of it/”. He smiled as he reciprocated the kiss and smiled a little nodding, “Well then we will see what happens we get back to yours now shall we?” He smiled kissing the side of her face for a moment, “But right now it’s nice whether so how about a walk through the park back to yours.”

Amelia was all happy and in her own comfort right now with Finn, maybe it had been a long time coming but she never saw this as something that could happen and she was happy that it was happening. She laughed a little and nodded, “That you did and it’s a good thing.” She smiled looking at him for a moment and nodded, “It definitely will, have to be determined you know.” She smiled holding onto his hand and smiled, “I like the sound of that. And a walk through the park sounds perfect.” She smiled kissing the side of his face back.

Finn held her tight as he saw her little smile, why had it taken him this long to realise this was the girl he loved and he wanted to be with, this girl was someone he could see himself falling in love with more and more each day, this girl was someone who was open and openly honest. “Well you wouldn’t be having an amazing time if you stayed there. Sectionals is going to be amazing and you are going to help us win it. Thank you, I say we can definitely try to make a plan for me. Well I am very glad you have an idea of what you want to do and it sounds amazing, you’re very talented.” He stated as he stroked her side for a moment and nodded “Well I don’t mind either we’ll see beautiful.” He smiled looking at her for a moment. 

Amelia wasn’t planning on letting the guy go now that she had him and he was finally hers, she knew there was no one else in the world for her and she was clear on making that point out to him as she didn’t want to lose him over silly things including other guys. She laughed a little, “Are you sure you’re not just jealous that I was at another school and could be living the life there? Well I do plan to make sure we win again this year because it’s our last time ever competing together as a full team before new members take some of our spots. I’m sure we can. Thank you.” She smiled leaning up to give him a quick kiss on his lips for a moment and then laughed, “Of course you don’t mind but you know me neither.” She laughed and winked at him for a moment.

Finn was finally in his own happy place, it took a long time for him to feel like that, with Quinn cheating on him and Rachel cheating on him it was something he never expected to happen with Amelia, considering she dated Noah.He laughed and nodded, “Oh darling, I know we were missable, glad we were and I am glad you are back. Yeah it’s going to be crazy. I unfortunately do not have a plan for what I am going to do with my life next year. Oh New York, Oh Yeah I’ve heard Kurt talk about it. So New York? Did you like it that much when we competed in Nationals when we lost.” He nodded and smiled “Also I am sure you’ll get in unlike Jesse.” He laughed a little before looking at her smiling briefly, “Well that’s good.” She nodded as he used his hand to stroke through her hair briefly and stopped as she looked vulnerable and he smirked a little, “Well sweet heart what do you want? We can just catch up and talk and watch Netflix or we can do a lot more then that. You’re choice.”

Amelia couldn’t help but laugh at his statement, was it true what he said about them being missable, of course it was. “I am glad I came back, don’t know what I would do if I stayed at Brittania. Not even lying i am excited for Sectionals. It’s going to be a hell of a ride this year. Well we can figure that one out for you together. I am sure you’ll figure something out.New York just had a great atmosphere about ti and I mean I performed on a Broadway Stage with Kurt one morning that it made  me want to try that. I hope so, I would love to get him.” She smiled looking up at Finn for a moment. She laughed a little as he stroked her hair for a moment, “Well we’ll see what happens I mean either way I don’t mind.” She winked for a moment before walking down the road with him.

Finn glanced over at Amelia for a moment as he stroked his fingers over the girls knuckles as they walked together, he laughed, “That’s because we are very missable and you can’t be away from us for more then a few weeks. I’m kidding, but I am genuinely very happy you chose to join us for Senior year before we all scatter, but do you know what you going to do when you graduate then? Because Britannia High was a good gateway to start your dream. Well as long as he isn’t like Jesse then I am sure they will get on just fine.” He smiled looking over at her for a moment before kissing her cheek for a moment,  “Well I mean if you have time, maybe just go back to yours and chill and catch up?” He smiled winking for a moment. 

Amelia felt safe and felt like she was part of something special or at least with someone special, she always saw a good side of Finn, but she always had feelings for him as well and she was worried that this would never happen but she got lucky and she wasn’t going to let him go very quickly no matter who she upset. For the first time  she wasn’t going to care what others thought. “You guys are very missable that is very true. I can’t believe we’re going to all end up scattering next year. But I think I know what I want to do or where I want to go. There’s this college in New York, it’s called NYADA, Kurt spoke to me about it and it’s actually a great college, Jesse auditioned for it but didn’t get in.  Well I want to audition for that college.” She said quietly, after being at Britannia high she had realised her dream job and what she wanted to do. “He isn’t like hime at all I promise.” she stated before feeling the kiss on her cheek and she smiled for a moment looking up at him, “Catch up with what? But yeah we can head back to mine.” She smiled looking up at him for a moment.

Finn continued to walk hand in hand with the girl for a moment as they nearly arrive at her brothers school, laughing he shock his he winked at her, “No, I promise it wasn’t to win you. Well I am glad you are back really. Well you have grown a long way since the time I met you and you pretty much ripping her head off. Well then I hope he’s a nice guy for her then.”

Amelia looked over as their hands were connected in a way that made hr feel goosebumps but happy at the same time which was something she hadn’t been used to in a rally long time and she wasn’t sure if she wanted to feel the way she did at some point. She nodded, “Well that’s good to hear. You’d be surprised how much I missed McKinley even though Britannia High was a great school. Well I mean it’s Senior year and I don’t want to spend it hating her any longer. I am sure he is, they have similar interests but he’s nothing like my brother.”  he smiled as she looked at him, “Enough talk about Rachel and lets move onto us, what do you want to do?”

Finn was walking with her for a moment and laughed a little and stroked her hand for a moment before hearing the words, “Well I am very glad you left and came back, I did miss you here. But that was such an awesome opportunity for you, please tell me the show will be worth it for you? You are very talented babe. Yes you do, it’s Senior year, do you really think hating on her forever for no reason is going to help. And I can promise you nothing is going to happen between Rachel and I, I don’t want to be with her. Well I mean if you think so and considering he’s not actually competition, I mean if they end up together that might be good for Rachel.” He smiled looking over at her.

Amelia continued to walk to her brothers school as she looked over at Finn for a moment,, things were working out for her recently and she loved it, “Are you sure it wasn’t just so you could win me? I really did miss everyone in New Directions and that made me come back. Well I mean I could hate her but I don’t see the point anymore. I know that Finn, I trust you. Well then there is no harm in me trying to set her up with him then.”

Finn stood there glancing over at the girl for a moment laughed a little, he was very persuasive when he wanted to be, “I am glad I won that because we could have been here for ever otherwise.” He smiled kissing the side of her face for a moment and looked over at her for a moment and kept a hold of her hand. “Oh right, well you must be very lucky then to even talented which I know is true. Well it would be great if you could give her a chance. Oh were you anything else other then friends with this Danny guy?”

Amelia glanced over at Finn for a moment, she wanted to laugh but she couldn’t he knew he was right so she smiled, “Well you’re lucky we weren’t then.” She smiled as she kept a tight grip of her is hand. She nodded looking over at him, “Well I think I was talented enough, I mean they didn’t want me to leave. But I needed to be back at McKinley. I need to move past my problems with her right? No Danny and I were just friends I promise but him and Rachel would be a good fit I think.”

As Finn kept a hold of the girls hand he smiled a little  and laughed a little before glancing around and then back up at her, “Yeah you have a spark and you should start believing it. Well that makes sense but you know Noah, Noah isn’t one to  admit things or manning up about .” He stated briefly, he knew him and Noah had their problem in the past but in the same breath, Noah was one of his best friends so sometimes he had to stick up for him. He nodded, “But you left the school? How comes you get to perform? Sorry that sounded rude, well I am glad I can come watch you perform and you sure you want me around Rachel? Oh really and who might that be?”

Amelia briefly smiled over at him and laughed a little shaking her head, “Fine for you I will start believing it. I know that, i always have, but I just wish he would man up and do it.” She stated looking over at Finn for a moment and sighed, she needed to stop thinking of her past with Noah because it wasn’t going to help her move forward in the future with Finn. Putting a hand through her hair she laughed a little, “Yeah I left the school but I was there for most of the term that they asked me to perform. So I said yes. Well I trust you around her yes and I need to give her a chance right? Well there’s this guy named Danny, one of my closest friends there.”

Finn held a tight grip on her hand, she made him happy and for once he did what he knew was best for his happiness and no one else’s, he would deal with the drama from Rachel and possibly Puck or Quinn another day. He looked at her, “Amelia, you don’t need to stay at the top, you just need to be you, I understand you like the popularity, but honestly you don’t need it.” He stated, he wasn’t going to argue with her over it, if it’s what she wanted then he would let her have it. He laughed a little, “How could I not, you just have that spark in you and I can’t deny to you that is the way you got me to like you. I am just telling you the truth that he won’t be able to admit to you.” He stated before looking around the area for a moment. He raised his eyebrows, “Tomorrow night? Nothing as I can think of. Why what have you got in mind?”

Amelia was sure she was dreaming, she knew it felt too great to b real, she never imagined to have Finn Hudson as her boyfriend.She knew her life was slowly going in the right direction. She laughed a little, “See that’s one thing that we will disagree on but then that’s just me.” She shrugged, there wasn’t much she could say that. She laughed a little, “ I have a spark? I didn’t know that?  Well I mean I would prefer to hear it from his mouth but I get that.” She shrugged, thinking about Noah still hurt sometimes so she tried to brush it off. She laughed and nodded, “Well I a m glad to hear that because I am performing in the Britannia High show  even though i left and well I was wondering if you wanted to come. Oh and i might invite Rachel , I have someone I could possible set her up with.”

Finn kept a hold of the girls hand tightly for a moment, he was soon feeling happier about this moment and he knew he had made the right choice on how to start his Senior year. He laughed a little, “Amelia, everyone knows the bitchy sise to you but in the last few years, you’ve let me aee the real you. Now if you were like that to others then they would see the real you. What you’ve done to Rachel that was your choice but you can still make it right. Since the day I met you Amelia, but I was with Quinn and then you got with Noah and stuck by his side even through everything he did. But it’s been a long time. I know Noah has hurt me twice, but I wouldn’t be the person to do that to him. No matter what Noah did to you Amelia, he did once love you and I know he holds a place for you in his heart.” He knew his best friend well enough. He kissed her back softly and smiled stroking her hand walking towards her brothers school. I am glad to hear that.”

Amelia kept a hold of his hand and kept hold of it firmly, she was scared if he let go that they would be over and things wouldn’t work out, she knew that was a crazy thought but it was just a fear. She laughed a little and shrugged, “Maybe because you’ve been willing to look past the bitchy side, bu I need that side of me, it keeps me at the top and I am not going to go down the popularity level not just yet. I know that might make me sound like Quinn but that’s not the reason, it’s just who I am and what I need.” She stated looking at him for a moment and was in shock, “Finn, how could you have liked me since then? And yeah okay I was with Noah but I don’t know we all knew me and him would never last. You can’t say that about him Finn, I know he loved me, but i don’t need to hear that.2 She stated looking down,  she wished Noah told her that, at least so she didn’t regret too much of there time together. She smiled looking up at him, trying to change the subject, “Well what are you doing tomorrow night?” She asked, she was doing the final performance with the Britannia high crew even though she left the school o graduate with friends but she wanted to do the last how and was happy to, even if it meant enduring Danny’s presence again but she had an idea to set him up with Rachel, to be a little nice to her.

Finn was walking out of the school with the girl, he was happy, happier then he had been in a while and he wasn’t about to jeopardize it. Hearing her question, he held on to her hand and bit his lip, “Amelia, first off, why do you doubt that I would want to be with you? If I wanted to be with Rachel, I would have asked her. Yeah I loved her, but you, I don’t know, you have always got me, and i understand you are a different person to everyone else in the school, but I really do care about you and the feelings I have for you are try and i can’t push them aside any longer. I think you should stop worrying about Rachel and let yourself be happy for once.”

Amelia held onto his hand as he looked over at her, she could feel the heat he was giving her from the look in his eyes. She couldn’t help but smile, Senior year was off to a great start and she wanted it to continue like that. “Because everything I have done in the last few years and to Rachel. How long have you been holding onto these feelings Finn? I mean I know, well I have had feelings for you even if I was with Noah, I had feelings for you a while ago. If you had asked me out a year ago, I would have duped Noah for you.” She stated and sighed tiptoeing up to kiss him softly on the cheek before walk with him, “Okay I will try my best to do that.”
