I love all the redesigns you made for winx: spellbinding! I especially love how you went more alien with the girls designs, that always one of my favorite things to see for redesigns of them! So out of curiosity, how do you imagine these difference would connect to their species and home planets?
So for some of them, it was me going 'ooh, I think that would be cool,' for others, I did do some thinking. Like with Dominoans, I tend to draw them with some fire in their hair (I hope it makes sense looking at Flynn's hair 😭) since I personally like to think that the Great Dragon and Shadow Phoenix (my own canon on this part), resting on Domino, did affect the people and wildlife.
For Linpheans, and people in general who trace their heritage from there tend to have some form of additional animal features, like you can see on Eden and in my Infinix drawing of Flora. I mainly did this because I went with Linphea being the fifth moon of Marigold and made Marigold itself the Oldest Paradise in Magix (the earliest documented planet with forests), so with that thought process, I decided that Linpheas would have some animal-like features (ears, patterns, etc.).
I'm still deciding things and am planning to make posts about some of the locations in Magix (❁´◡`❁)
I don't wanna give too much away yet, but I shuffled around some episodes and rearranged them, and I have changed a few characters like Nathaniel quite a bit.
I did also change the kingdoms, so Xeris, and Borealis are now two of Ephedia's moons, I'm still working on a map for the planet itsel,f, but I have renamed the capital city.

So Riven and Stormy are twins, and their mother, Queneva, is a pretty popular celebrity; she raised the two only for the first two or so years of their lives. She mostly had them because, at the time, a lot of celebrities in Magix were having kids as a sorta trend (you can find lots of photos and old articles with baby Riven & Stormy, a lot of them are collectables for her fans).
Queneva didn't really want to raise children; she started leaving them more with the nearest relative(s) for prolonged periods of time (sometimes she'd leave both with the same relative, other times she'd separate them, parading one of them while the other stayed with a relative). In the end, she left them with their grandmother, who raised them. There's not much contact between the twins and Queneva; they only ever see her during family reunions or in passing on ads or movie trailers.
ooo having riven come from wealth but be emotionally detached from it is a fun subversion of the typical fanon, usually he's made to be quite poor (i also did that lmao)
them being twins also adds another layer. since stormy is a member of the trix i imagine shes a pretty powerful witch, is riven a magic user in any way?

Riven does have magic; he doesn't explore that side of him until after Nabu slips into his coma thing on Earth. When they get back to Magix, Riven volunteers to look after/take care of Nabu so he's got a lot of time to unpack things 💀

For ages now I've been doodling Season 4 redesigns because I really feel that those casual outfits are AWFUL. Especiallt coming after the first two sets of casual fits that are perfect.
So I wanted to try and design looks that feel like something they'd wear in the first seasons. With all the y2k weirdness that comes with it
I wanted to be bold and experimental, like the og seasons, since Winx has always prided itself on bold fashion choices. Colour combos that most shows would shy away from and make it fabulous.
I wanted the girls to be diving into this new chapter of their lives with fun outfits that are something old and something new
I also tried both long haired and short haired looks for Bloom and Flora. Rainbow would NEVER cut their hair, but in my dream reality they'd be allowed to rock short cuts too.
Anyway I've been playing around with these looks for a couple of years by now, so it was finally time to lay them to rest and get 'em finished
I might play around and do some more looks for s4 we never know
If you send feedback via Tumblr's feedback form (which you SHOULD do), you will get an autoreply telling you to leave a comment on the changes.tumblr.com blog (which you should also do!). Just make sure you're actually doing it on the reblog of this post from changes since, due to their own shitty update, they cannot/will not see the SIXTY THOUSAND NOTES that this update has generated, 99% of which are negative.

@v4ngelix (Ray) MADE A CALL-OUT POST FULL OF LIES WITH NO EVIDENCE ACCUSING MY FRIEND @parola-di-winx (Nove) OF HARASSMENT AND TELLING THEIR FOLLOWERS TO FALSELY REPORT NOVE AND THEN REUSED TO PROPERLY APOLOGIZE!!! TWICE!!!
Let me run through some context before I can get to these. "Apologies"
So, like I said, V4ngelix made an utterly false call-out post about my friend Nove. Without checking her claims even a fucking little bit!! V4ngelix has since thankfully deleted the post, so I can't link to it but I can link Nove's response post and show you some screenshots:

If it isn't obvious!!! This shit is insanely irresponsible!!! First, creating a bullshit call-out post and then never making a retraction??? Cool, so anyone who saw Ray's original post but not Nove's defense will still believe all these horrible claims about her!! Thats so indicative of believing in "being held accountable".
Second, that last screenshot is actively calling for harassment against Nove!! Asking people to falsely report someone's blog is fucking harassment!!! Surprise surprise!!! In her haste to accuse Nove of harassment, she tried to start a false harassment campaign against Nove!!
You might be wondering why I'm bringing a deleted call-out post, that is because V4ngelix keeps going around saying she's apologized and either IGNORES HER VICTIM'S WISHES OR IMMEDIATELY DELETES THE APOLOGY
I made a post two days ago about the absolute carelessness of V4ngelix's original callout post plus her utter lack of an a public apology to try and undo that damage, and one of my followers sent her an ask saying that she should probably apologize to Nove. She responded, giving an absolutely terrible apology full of excuses that never said Nove's name once but it was at least an apology—is what I would be saying IF SHE DIDN'T FUCKING DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS

I should need to explain why a one hour apology that not all her followers would had seen compared to her call-out which was up MUCH LONGER is acceptable, nor the hypocrisy of not wanting an account full of drama when she unprompted made a post lying on my friend and asking her followers to harass her
The most important bit is "As for why I didn't make a public apology earlier, it's because I wanted to solve things privately, and I did." [Spoiler: she didn't]

She claims that she gave Nove a "private apology." Considering I'm one of Nove's closest friends, and Nove has never mentioned once getting an apology from her, I rightfully called bullshit. Eventually asking Nove what the fuck she meant by that, and Nove gave me screenshots
The apology, which was given through a third party, and was before she had even completely taken down the call-out post:

Nove quite obviously didn't accept this apology, considering the post that was calling people to harass her and was lying about her was LITERALLY STILL FUCKING UP on her side blog, which comes off as insincere at best not to MENTION
V4ngelix was sending people Dms trying to get Nove removed from projects with false allegations and no evidence. Luckily, this is (@artisticmothman) a friend of Nove's who was able to call bullshit, but it's unclear how many people she messaged like this, and how many people spread that rumor on
If someone slandered me, messaged people I knew to lie about me, sent people to falsely report my blog, and would neither apologize to me directly NOR make an APOLOGY as PUBLIC AS THEIR ACCUSATIONS, I also would be pretty fucking annoyed with them
V4ngelix replied with:
I am. Nearly fucking speechless. I was actually speechless when Nove sent this to me. I don't think I need to explain to anyone with eyes why this is a fucking batshit take to have to someone being upset you won't make an apology as public as your call out, but fuck it, let's go line by line

"I understand they're hurting but if they're going to have sewage water for saliva then they're not making their case any better." Nove's case? Nove doesn't have a case. YOU were the one falsely accusing people

Wow, imagine if someone made a post calling for their followers to falsely report them and accusing them of harassment and they're *checks notes* angrily venting to their friends? Are we so serious right now?
Not to mention "or even how I feel about them being the victim in all of this." That doesn't matter!! What do you mean how you feel about NOVE being the victim?? You sent people to falsely report her blog!! YOU are the one who nearly caused a LOT of harm!!! Grow a moral backbone, and apologize properly

This makes her disappearing public apology stunt all the more insulting! It's literally the MAIN thing the actual VICTIM here wanted. And she's unwilling to do the bare minimum

V4ngelix seems to be convinced that she's more moral than Nove because Nove is kinda an asshole. I'll put it very bluntly. Nove might be rude, but you tried to start a harassment campaign and attempted to smear her name. One of those things is an attempt to cause real tangible harm, and it isn't being an rude
You say you want to do better. The victim of your call-out wants a public apology, at the bare minimum. It's not that hard
My takeaway for any bystanders? Block @v4ngelix and leave her alone. Consider reblogging this post, so anyone who saw HER original post won't believe it since she won't make a retraction that lasts longer than a hour. Do not fucking harass ANYONE on mine or Nove's behalf. Harassment is utterly unhinged behavior, and I refuse to tolerate it at all
