ᖴEEᒪIᑎG ᔕTᗩGᑎᗩᑎT? 💃🏻 A sensual movement practice is a key tool I use for maintaining my physical, emotional, and mental health. ⚡️ Plus, it gets me MOVING when I’m feeling stagnant, lazy, impostor syndrome, fear of success, heartbroken, frustrated, rageful... all the things. INGREDIENTS: ✅ Music that makes your body come alive ✅ Clothing that feels amazing on your skin ✅ Fragrances that ignite eros energy ✅ Mood lighting PRACTICE: ▪️ Spend at least 15 minutes (approximately 3 songs) letting the music guide your body into movement that feels juicy, yummy, and delicious. ▪️ Touch and caress your body through the movement (especially the parts of your body that need more love - tummy, love handles, booty, thighs, heart center, breasts, neck etc.) ▪️ Focus on your breath and feel the oxygen moving through your entire body as you move. ▪️ Don’t worry about how you look. 😱 Did you know that I always feel confused when people find me attractive? (Yes, still! To this day!). A man told me recently I was beautiful and my first thought was that he was messing with me... 🧐 🤔 I couldn't believe that "someone who looked like him" would ever want to look at "someone who looked like me". (Whatever that means, use your imagination). This is just one effect of racism and lack of representation in Hollywood/media. 🙅🏻♀️ 👯♀️ I grew up on 90s movies where lean torsos, huge breasts, light skin, and narrow noses were default hot - Think: Rose McGowan, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Alyssa Milano... 💃🏻 I looked nothing like the women who were praised for beauty on TV and in movies... so I was never able to see myself in that role. I always assume, by default, that I'm too short, brown, broad nosed to be seen as "the hot girl". 🙇♀️ 🧠 This isn't something I consciously do. It's a belief system programmed into my DNA. Programmed by millennia of torture, dehumanization, and othering of my ancestor's colonizers. 💕 Consciously, I'm happy with how I look. I think my family is beautiful... I think I am beautiful... 🧬 But there is something deeply ingrained that doesn't allow me to fully receive or own it. It has nothing to do with intelligence or logic. 🧠 🙅🏻♀️ It has everything to do with institutionalized racism, colonization, and lack of representation. 🎥 If you are a storyteller of the visual arts... Please consider diversifying your casts and show the world the many forms of beauty that exist. 👫TOP 3 REASONS I LOVE MEN I felt inspired to go even deeper into the reasons why I Love Men (& no, this isn’t about sexuality or sexual orientation... it’s about Divinity). 💕 I know in a “radically feminist” world, it can feel like men are being bashed left and right — accused of mansplaining, misunderstanding, toxic masculinity, and overall just plain getting it ‘wrong’. While all the above things DO exist, there are infinite others I prefer to focus on when I think about men... There are so many, but I’ll share my Top 3... 1️⃣ First and foremost, men have a natural penetrative nature that allow me to open to God... When I give myself permission to surrender to that force, I can open and blossom in ways I could never possibly do alone. I become soft, vulnerable, open hearted. My presence becomes a loving force that inspires people to be the best of who they really are... and the impact is immeasurable. 2️⃣ Second, the strength of men is deep, sacred, and holy. “The masculine is the rock upon which the feminine can crash her waves.” and honey, I’ve got waves to crash!! (quote by Mama Gena). When I allow myself to be held by a man’s structure and grounding presence, I experience the vast extent of my power, joy, pleasure, and love... I experience the boundless depth of my darkness and limitless height of my light... the Divine Feminine force within is able to pour out of me uninhibited and radiate sparkles around the entire Universe. A woman’s love knows no bounds, and the structure of man helps her get there in ways she could never do alone. 3️⃣ Lastly, the laser focused, problem solving capability of men is brilliant, intelligent, and second to none. When I allow myself to be penetrated by the dense heat of his laser-red focus, I am alchemized and transmuted into the Queen and Goddess I know myself to be. A letter to white woman owned businesses... Below is an actual email I sent to a white woman owned business who asked their email list (I’m on the list) for feedback on what they can do to support BIPOC. The email contained other things (it was a beautifully written email with many components and wasn’t just a tone-deaf request for labor from BIPOC), but that’s all you need to know for this context. I decided to share it here publicly (with the names and offerings redacted) because this is actually how I feel about a LOT (ok, MOST) white woman owned businesses especially those in the “wellness” and “personal development” space. This is not an attack on white women, this is an HONEST reflection of how many BIPOC people feel in your spaces - if they even bother to enter your spaces. If you truly stand for anti racism, hopefully this inspires you to do the work and do better to truly create “safe spaces” for ALL bodies. Many white owned personal development spaces don’t even NOTICE that their leadership, spaces, and friend groups are monochromatic and inherently unsafe for BIPOC- and that is part of the problem. In response to your question addressing BIPOC, I would love to see an anti racist component led by a Black woman (well paid) at your retreats as well as speaking about it and offering resources as a regular ongoing thing long after the topic is “trendy”. I’m not sure exactly how that would look but admittedly, I’ve never been interested in [any of your offerings] purely because I didn’t feel safe as a WOC. IDK what that means to you or what creating safety would look like, but just thought I’d say something this time since you asked. You easily remember the names and personal details of white / white-passing actors and casually forget Black and Brown ones. 9. You’re willing to date white 6s & 7s but to date a Black / Brown person, they must be at least a 9 or 10. 8. Look around your dinner tables, healing circles, Sunday brunches, and community gatherings - almost everyone is white. 7. When referring to non-white ethnicities, you’ve said things like “they’re such good people”, “ohhh, I love <insert ethnicity>, they’re so sexy”, or “Oh! I know someone who is <insert ethnicity>.” Bonus points if you’ve followed that up with “Do you know them?” 6. A non-white race gets mentioned and you already have an idea in your mind of who this person is, what their personality is like, and what they do. 2. When you discover someone’s non-white race/culture/ethnicity, you mention the ONE useless fact or ONE word you know in their language - example: “Oh? You’re Filipino? Maganda Ka!!!” or “Oh?
