Finals were somewhat difficult, I got stuck on some of it but I made educated guesses and hoped for the best lol We were supposed to go the beer festival afterwards to celebrate but we didn't because it was too expensive...we went out to eat and it made me sick and on my back to the dorm (I thought it was constipation) I threw up on the side of the road lol I felt better but I still didn't feel like drinking and going to the club after that so I still went back to the dorm and I slept. Felt good too since studying for finals all night and waking up early left me with no sleep. I feel bad though because one of the friends who went to the club and got separated from the other (more into dancing guys) friends and I feel responsible somehow...like she wouldn't have had a bad time if I was there with her

Went to the water gun festival and had fun even though I really should have been studying instead

and my gun broke towards the end and I was hoping to keep that too....so sad

I think being inside all day and missing out on the fun last night has also put me in a bad mood, like I missed out. But I sorta did this to myself anyway. Maybe I feel homesick too, like I’m missing out at home too.

I came home yesterday and took a long ass nap which caused me to not be able to go out with my friends that night, but I have no energy to really venture out alone to meet up with them. Today I woke up sorta with the idea it would be a chill-or-study-for-midterms-next-week day. I could have gone shopping alone or gone to the water gun festival, but I didn’t because my friends are on their group exclusive trip. Its fine though, I can always do those things tomorrow. Hell I could even do it like the two days after finals and before I leave if I wanna procrastinate those activities. I just feel weird going places alone in general, even in America. Like I love being home alone as a homebody but going places alone...feels weird. Like what’s the point of going outside if not to meet with friends? I don’t have the determination or that sort of independence about myself. I only do stuff I dislike/feel uncomfortable with when I have to, so if I can avoid those situations I do.

We got home super late from the club, 3 am even though I needed to wake up early for a day trip at 7 am. Went to the folk village and it was good weather wise and I like learning all the history and watching the performances. I felt so tried by the end of it though, it got too hot. I like socializing on these trips with random kids from the summer program but nobody has really caught my interest in being good friends with. Still fun though, just these day trips are too tiring for my old self I guess

I had my Korean club experience. Better than I thought considering I’m not a club person per say, I’ve been once in the US and I hated it. Here they’re more better at trying to be more reasonable when trying to approach you either. I think being buzzed at first (because we ate and drank beforehand) helped my I hate ya’ll attitude when rejecting guys. Body language helps, no words need to be spoken. My one friend didn’t seem to enjoy it as much, so we’re basically the same. We just want to dance. My roommate though is more boy crazy and willing to dance with boys but she apparently was “too sober”, but I interpreted as chickening out because the other girl and I did not want to go into the middle of the crowd and get touched by random men. 

Still fun though, surprising mostly since by Asian standards I apparently have enough American swag that one slightly creepy guy typed out on his phone in English saying he’d buy me a drink if I dance battled him LOL I’m a white girl who sometimes listens to rap music only because of vines and can’t dance but here I’m apparently good at dancing. I just find that hilarious tbh. I also got stared at or approached a lot surprising, like they seemed interested in dancing with a foreigner more than than anything. But I rejected them all and put on a cold face when I realized a guy was trying to make eye contact with me. 

There were a lot of foreigner there though so but I think a lot of the guys target the foreigner girls thinking they’re easy. Overall interesting experience but I think I’ll do what we did in the beginning where we find a wall and dance by it so we don’t have to worry about being approached as much. We also needed more people, maybe some guys to protect us more lol. They roommate is the only girl that is really boy crazy so I feel we’ll go again for her sake lol

I was too stressed out about having to open a account at a korean bank. I got very frustrated and mad with some at the International affairs office for not having my ID...I’ll have extra money for food put in a bank account though so I can be able to freely shop without feeling as guilty.

Also didn’t celebrate the 4th for the first time in my life, totally normal and fine though. Especially since it rained and the fireworks were canceled.

I quite enjoy puppy cafes and Korean BBQ. But I really enjoy not having alot of homework where I can literally go out on a Sunday night when I normally just be lazy or do all my homework on Sundays.

I climbed up a hill to get to the Seoul Tower, so thats kinda made me proud. I hate all the walking and mosquitos I had to endure though. Hoes ain't loyal and will totes ditch you on the subway if they're too tired to go clubbing.

Business classes are just as boring abroad as they are at my home university. Also the library is amazing and I want to transfer because it is so amazing here.
