Hey y'all! In celebration of Wizard101's 15h birthday, here's a animated short that follows the player through some key moments in the game's story! It's very very beautifully done and a real tear jerker :')

Full disclaimer, had no idea this was a thing that was happening until literally right now :'D I'm guessing at least part of the production on this was outsourced, as I have no knowledge of any of the artists here working on it. Kayly, our head of Marketing, was a huge driving force behind the idea, so big shout out to her and the marketing team!

do you work/intern there?? how is it like? how did ya end up there?

dont worry i didnt actually play w101 on lab lol. yeah, i'm an intern doing astrophysics stuff! i like it a lot - everyone's really nice and there's a nice sense of community. the first time i met my advisor in person he was wearing cargo shorts, a hawaiian shirt, and a snapback.

for how i Ended Up Here i checked the opportunities page (surf@jpl, for the lab i'm at) during internship app season (nov-jan typically). i cold emailed some people and was like "hey here's my resume <3" and then turns out one of my guys knew one of their guys so i got my actual gig through a lukewarm email (we still did the whole interview/who tf are u shabang).
