Hi... thoughts on shrimp (As animals)? If it’s too personal to say that’s ok....
not personal at all :) so they are like creatures to me
the calm before the storm
That’s the kind of power walk you see in a man who’s going to slap it more than once
Gig flyers I collected back in the day
desperately want to be frightened by a movie but i don’t believe in ghosts nor do i value my own life enough to fear death so it never works out
I adore scott pilgrim but in all honesty it did singlehandedly set back gender equality by at least a decade
went an had a painting picnic in a field alone bc i was bored... call me indie if u must
remember a couple months ago when nonblack people acted like they care about Black ppl. surreal how quick that died off.
my unemployment ended a bout a month ago & ive exhausted what ive saved on bills and living expenses, im a Black lesbian who lives with immunocompromised elders and any donations towards keeping us well stocked & on top of bills would be appreciated rn bc i have $43 to my name left lol.
im calling on nonblack people who consider themselves allies in keeping Black people out of harms way & believe in righting the wrongs of a world that devalues Black lives & safety/comfort.

“Horror is one of my favorite genres because it’s so limber. In some ways, it’s regressive—it’s still very male and white. The fact that Get Out was so big this year is amazing but also unusual. On the other hand, horror can be a very transgressive space. It reflects so many of our anxieties and fears. When you enter into horror, you’re entering into your own mind, your own anxiety, your own fear, your own darkest spaces. When horror fails, it’s because the writer or director isn’t drawing on those things. They’re just throwing blood wherever and seeing what sticks. But horror is an intimate, eerie, terrifying thing, and when it’s done well it can unmake you, the viewer, the reader. That tells us a lot about who we are, what we are, and what we, individually and culturally, are afraid of. I love the ability of stories to have spaces in them where the reader can rush in. That is the work I am most interested in, and that is the work I am most interested in writing.”

the thing about riverdale season two is that jughead and archie’s plot is the kind of thing the internet would lose their minds over if it was any other show but because people online don’t know how to have fun
like. a small town boy who just wants to do right by the place he’s lived all his life ends up getting pulled into a world of crime while trying to impress his girlfriend’s mob boss father. meanwhile his childhood best friend from the wrong side of the tracks finds himself the reluctant leader of the local gang after his father is sent to prison for helping cover up a murder. the small town boy ignores his best friend’s warnings and concerns over an escalating drug and class war, and remains ignorant of what exactly he’s gotten himself into a teenage gang member is shot after being falsely accused of murdering a wealthy and popular girl, sparking riots across the entire town. if hbo was running this show or it was a netflix original miniseries then people would be eating it up.
also the childhood best friend is forced to be a drug runner after making a deal to help get his dad out of prison earlier and so the small town boy agrees to help him even though they’re fighting and they have this exchange
like if donna tartt had written this i know so many of you would never shut up about it
