this is Connor Harrison! he's mallory's ex and hes in the popular kids group with angie and lilac. he's the rebel kind, but he acts all nice to parents. after breaking up with mallory, he gets super possesive saying 'shes still mine' and stuff like that so yeah he gets mad when she hangs out with charlie and punches him in the face. anyway these are all the developed characters so far I hope u enjoyed!

this is Eleanor Peterson!! she goes missing a year before the story begins, and she was best friends with Mallory. current life status is unknown (to characters so no spoilers) she loves to paint :D she is lowkey in lesbians w mallory so that makes her jealous of connor before she dissapears (connor covered in part six)

part four:

this is Angela Marie Bellwood! She's the 'popularity queen' of red spruce high! she's not the bully type, but her spoiled upbringing does cause her to be mean sometimes. shes friends with lilac, and while sometimes she offends her without meaning, she really cares for her (all the other popular kids think she uses lilac for gossip like them, but she gen cares abt her) angie did make fun of mallory and eleanor the previous year tho. her mom is a model, and her dad is the chief of police who looked for eleanor for a few months. Elle is covered in part five!

part three:

this is Lilac Phillips! Shes the school paper editor and her dad is the pastor at the town church! she is a devout christian, at least she tries to be under her father's strict regimen. she often annoys mallory and asks about her to put in the paper, but mallory doesnt appreciate this. they used to be aquainted in middle school, but ever since eleanor, mallorys completely isolated herself. Lilac enjoys writing fictional stories in secret, and the moment she sees charlie she is in love lol. shes best friends with the most popular girl in school, Angie, who is covered in part four!

Part two:

this is Charlie Williams! He moved from whitby, england to red spruce, maine (the fictional town where the story takes place) for the 2005 school year! its been over a year since eleanor went missing, and he has to go around and piece together what happened before he can ask mallory, the only person in the small religious town who doesnt mind his goth style, if she would be interested in going to solve the mystery of two other kids who have recently gone missing. (mallory takes offense to this, but charlie isnt very good at social situations) he develops a bit of a crush on Lilac Phillips, who will be covered in part three!

this is Mallory Rose Edwards! Mallory was best friends with Eleanor before she went missing the summer after eighth grade. the book starts a year later from Mallorys pov! She is very grumpy and doesnt like to talk to people, and everyone calls her weird. That's until she meets charlie. More on him in the second post of the series!
