hi! idek how tumblr posts work bye😳 anyways i've never seen anyone write abt a s/o with diabetes, so i'm just gonna do it myself ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

he's probably very concerned at first, it takes some time for him to get used to it all
thinks it's manly to help you change your pump and/ or continuous glucose monitor (if you have one)
would let you hold his hand if you have to inject/test/change sites
"Y/N, you can hold my hand if you're scared"
if you have type 2 (which in most cases is cureable) he would love to plan exercise dates to motivate you to get healthier
he's very patient with you, if you need breaks during exercise he doesn't mind
kiri is down for anything- have a new sport you wanna try? he'll pick it up with you. new recipe you want to try? even if it's disgusting, he'll suffer through eating it
if you're low in the middle of the night he probably likes to stay up with you until you feel better, it gives him a sense of comfort knowing he won't let anything happen to you while he's sleeping
he'll let you eat whatever basically, he trusts you to make the right decisions because you know your body best
overall, he just wants you to be happy and healthy
he'll probably ask what everything does, he'd be curious especially about your glucose meter
honestly, this poor boy will probably NOT understand no matter how many times you explain it to him
he always carries one of your favorite snacks around incase you get low
i don't think he's as into working out as kiri or bakugou, but he would 100% play just dance with you as a form of exercise
and let me tell you, he is god awful
i think he would also like to go on walks or go swimming, it still gets you active but it's not as taxing on your body
he would probably get a little squeemish if you test/inject/change sites infront of him; he's not big on needles
likes to cuddle and watch tv/ play games with you if you're feeling high and want to stay home
i think he would be interested in learning more about the disease, he might do some research on what it actually is
likes to cuddle you after an extreme high or low, he realizes how tiring it can be
for exercise he would also likes walks, but maybe even some other activities like hiking or rock climbing?? ( i feel like he'd be a good rock climber with his quirk, imagine he just swings around with his tape)
he's also down to try new activites, he might even suggest a few of his own
if you test/inject/change sites infront of him, he would probably squirm a little and ask if it hurts
likes to find different snacks for you to try, maybe some organic or low carb options if your sugars tend to run high!
if you go out to a restraunt i feel like he would insist on trying your soda before you drink it to make sure it's actually diet
if you're having a bad day he would suprise you with some of your favorite snacks, but probably the tiny versions so you don't mess with your blood sugar too much
overall he's also really patient and understanding with you, he loves you so much and wants whats best for you :)
at first he's really confused when you whip out a needle or just randomly poke your finger
probably stares in shock or just says "what the fuck are you doing?"
he's a quick learner, so he'll pick up on things you have to do even if you don't directly explain it to him
he would probably peer over your shoulder to make sure you're taking the right amount of insulin
"dumbass, that's too much" or "that's not enough, idiot"
he kinda panics when you have extreme lows, he thinks you're dying or something
we all know he's a good cook, so i think he would secretly make you meals that will help keep your sugars in check but would also taste amazing
if you have type 2, he would often have you train with him, whether it be sparring or his normal workout routine
if he has you doing a hard workout, he often asks if you feel okay or if you need a snack/break
he may push you too hard sometimes, but in all honesty he just wants you to get/feel better
